Kendra glared at Damion, he wakes up and the question he asks is why was she here??

She happened to returning late from school 2 days ago, she was tempted to use the bus but the trauma from the kidnapping last time was still there
She hailed a cab and drove till she passed by a frozen yogurt stand, feeling thirsty she got off and decided to get one before walking back home
She happened to see an ambulance carrying someone from a duplex and was shocked Ned and Theodore scared faces, well just Theodore as Ned is always worrying about something
" Theodore was the problem" Kendra ran towards him asking
" it's Gustavo, he suddenly passed out, I called 911 to rush him to the hospital as he isn't breathing" Theodore paled as he watched Gustavo being wheeled into the ambulance
Ned looked worse as a pale corpse, some of the paramedics looked confusingly at him, watching if he would faint
Kendra was vividly shocked with the kind of face Gustavo has she didn't really think he could get sick to the point of hospitalization, she turned back towards the panicking Theodore
" You need to calm down Theodore" Kendra held his hands
" H..ow" Theodore stuttered
" Firstly, we follow the ambulance then we call his parents" Kendra said pushing him into the ambulance
" I will grab Ned and follow you to the hospital okay"
Theodore nodded and the paramedics closed the door and drove off
" They keys" Kendra turned towards Ned
" Keys? ... yeah the keys" Ned rushed back into the house and got Theodore car keys
Kendra began to drive after the ambulance with a shaking Ned
" Okay, I understand you are worried but this isn't going to help just calm down" Kendra yelled at Ned
" Okay am calm" Ned said calming his breathing
" So, you guys live alone, who owns the house" Kendra tried to spark up a conversation
" Yeah, the house belongs to Gustavo" Ned said
" What that's he's house God he must be rich then" Kendra said driving into the hospital
They both got down as Gustavo was rushed into ER , Theodore was strangely calm waiting for the results
" You calm now" Kendra sat beside him
" Yeah, thanks alot" Theodore replied gratefully
" Glad I could help that ice block" Kendra teasingly smiled
" Yeah, he does behave like an ice block, hey promise me his condition don't speak about it" Theodore pleaded
" Sure, but won't you call his parents " Kendra asked
Theodore gave her look before looking towards the door
" I wish I could " he whispered
"What?"
Kendra was both confused and lost, what did he mean by that, their son was probably dying... well maybe not, but he should try to phone them
They sat for about an hour before, the doors were opened and the doctor came out
" Everything alright doctor " Theodore asked
" Well, we managed to bring him out from danger and he is being taken into another wars for recovery" The doctor replied
" So what was wrong with him" Kendra asked
" That, though he seems old enough to be an adult , I still need to speak to his parents or guardian it's important that I do" The doctor replied
" Doctor can we talk in your office"
The doctor gave him a long look before leading him into his office
Kendra was confused, why couldn't they call his parents, she turned towards Ned determined to get answers
" Hey Ned, was up with Gustavo parents or guardian "
Ned turned stiff and looked away
" I don't know"
Shortly Theodore came back with the doctor who led them to Damion room
Damion laid on the bed like some sort of sleeping beauty, Kendra felt he looked more pleasing to the eye while asleep
" The doctor said it might take a while before he wakes, so Ned and I will take shifts. Kendra you can go home you have already done so much for us" Theodore suggested
" Nah, I would like to look after him too but in the day, it's getting late I will come back "
Present day
" You ungrateful..."
" Gustavo Kendra here has been helping to watch over you since you passed out, you should say thank you instead"
Theodore spoke cutting off Kendra remarks, he turned and gave her a smile
" Uh, my apologies, Thank you for looking after me" Damion apologized and thanked her
" Well it's was a pleasure helping a you" Kendra folded her hands and sat back
" How long was I asleep" Damion asked
" Two days" Ned answered instead
" Two days, what happened to me" Damion asked
" Well Gustavo this might come as a shock" Theodore sat on the bed and took his palm
" Doctor said you have a weak heart, you have been straining your heart too much" Theodore patted the palm
" I see" Damion took his palm back and slowly got up from the bed
"What do you mean by " I see" , don't you care about your heart" Kendra shockingly spoke
Suddenly Ned shrieked and everyone turned towards him
" What"
" Gustavo your palm, it's soaked with blood" Ned spoke pointing towards his palm
" What the..." Kendra left her jaw open
" Did you forcefully pulled the IV drip cord from your palm" Theodore slowly asked
" It's not needed" Damion spoke indifferently looking outside through the window
" Be reasonable it kept you alive for two days" Theodore spoke with slight anger in his voice
" It has served it's purpose " Damion maintained his indifference
" Do you know how worried we were" Theodore spoke now with evident anger in his voice
" And I appreciate it" Damion spoke still maintaining his indifference
