"Humph your nothing but a money maker, don't think you're special" A man in lab clothes spoke facing a young teen

"Yeah, what a dump, I can't believe they want to set a petition to let him go" Another man in lab clothes

"They won't let him go, they money their making out of him is much, what a lucky bastard" The first man replied

" Luck isn't the word I would rather rotten luck" The other man replied

The young teen sat there staring at the wall opposite him totally ignoring the two badmouthing him right in his front

" you think ignoring us would make us stop talking, humph! I won't stop because you're trash" The man said

The young teen kept staring at the wall not giving him a glance, the other partner just smiled and spoke

" You think you've got great mentality, it's been a year now you can't tell me you don't feel anything" The lab man spoke again

This time the teen turned and looked at him, he had blond hair with silver irises which gave off an eerie vibe, his pointed nose aligned with his jaw line which gave him a manly and handsome look

His fair pale skin radiated with light from the blub installed in the walls, his pink colored lips moved slowly into a sneer as he obviously mocked those outside

" You" The man said trembling with anger

" It's okay, being locked in here probably made him crazy" The other lab man said as he pulled the other out

The teen watched slowly as they hurried off, he gave a small snort before taking a glance round the room he was locked in 

He was currently sitting on a mattress big enough for 2 people, a small reading table was kept at the side, with a water dispenser by the right

Their were some drugs placed on the table mainly blood building drugs, at the end of his bed there was a flower pot

The teen withdrew his gaze and got up from the bed and sat on the chair and pulled the table towards him

There were some books on the table mainly college books, just as he was about to grab one his door swinged open

A man in his late forties, with dark hair and hazy brown irises, his tanned colored skin looked pale as he walked in carrying a cake in his slightly wrinkled hands

"Happy birthday" The man said as he closed the door

" Huh, is it my birthday today Max" the teen asked

'He wouldn't forget anything except his birthday' Max muttered as he opened the cake, on it, "Happy Nineteenth Birthday Damion" was written in blue icings which blended with the white colored cake

"So it's today, it makes sense why those guys came today" Damion spoke

"what those punks came disturbing you again" Max asked

"Leave it they aren't worth your time" Damion said cutting a slice off from the cake

"Well eat fast were leaving" Max said

"What?" Damion asked

"you didn't hear, the old man decided to let you go he said it's too inhumane to leave you here" Max said excited

"You sure, it sounds shady" Damion said

"I thought so, too but its best you leave now, I have a nephew in the city, knowing you know nothing about the outside world, he will help you and drill you, I have already registered you into a college as you wanted you would be majoring in Economics and Accounting" Max paused as he started coughing hard

"Uncle Max are you alright, your cough seems to be getting worse, you should get it checked" Damion said worriedly

"Look at you, you've been reading medical books again why don't you switch and major in Medicine" Max asked

"I don't like the smell of drugs" Damion spoke and grew silently

Max sighed and joined Damion in eating the cake, after the finished Damion got up to leave before Max called him back

"Won't you carry anything?" Max asked

"No, I don't want to remember anything here, everything makes me sick" Damion said

"Fine, let's go" Max said and led him out, as they walked out the building, they felt stares on them but they just ignored it

Damion stepped outside the building for the first time in seventeen years, he felt the sunlight outside and he looked up trying to catch a glimpse of the sun before he felt a hand covering his eyes

"Stop that you'd blind your eyes" Max said and pulled him along

"It's just so beautiful" Damion spoke

"Yeah, you should see it when it's setting" Max spoke

"I would love to" Damion said

"Well go, judging by the time, we should be arriving the City at night," Max said

"Are we really that far from the city" Damion

"Son you have no idea where you are" Max said with a sullen look

"Max, we will make it right?" Damion asked

"Son, I want you to promise me something" Max said

"What uncle" Damion asked

"You'd make it to City no matter what, with or without me" Max said

"Uncle, don't say that" Damion said frowning hard

"Just promise me that" Max said

"Fine, I promise" Damion said

"Let's go now" Max said and got into the car

Damion got in and max drove out with immense speed, till the building was no longer in sight, he slowed down a bit

Damion was just looking outside the window, he was fascinated with what he was seeing, the buildings and the trees

Max just had a smile on his face as he watched the look on Damion face he only prayed that Damion would survive tonight, he had a feeling he might not but no matter what Damion cannot return to those bastards' hands

He stopped the car at some place to buy Damion some snacks and foods, as Damion was excited to try new foods

They finally arrived the city around 9 in the night, Max took a deep breath as he drove carefully, as they drove through the mountains, and he kept looking outside the window, Damion obviously noticed his strange behavior,

"Uncle Max are you alright" Damion asked

"Damion remember what you promised me" Max said

"Yes of course" Damion said feeling uneasy

"Now listen carefully, we are being followed, likely to kill us both, I knew the would likely not want to let us go as we know too much and you are their money magnet " Max said

"What we going to do" Damion asked

"Well for starters take this USB drive, there you would have the answers to the questions you refuse to ask me" Max said giving him a USB drive

Max suddenly turned and got off from the mountain towards the forest, beside it,

"BANG! BANG!" gunshots flew towards their car, Max instantly pushed Damion down with a hand as he used the other one to drive

"Uncle their using their guns, let me shot them back" Damion said

"Damion listen to me and stay down" Max said and drove even deeper,

4 Jeeps in black followed them with speed and chased them into the forest, they raised their guns and aimed Max Car tire

BOOM! the hit one, the car lost it gearing but Max held on, BAM! a gunshot pierced his chest

"UNCLE" Damion screamed in horror

"Remember meet Theodore, his my nephew, Damion be a good kid okay, I want you to live peacefully, don't let those bastards get you" Max spoke as he kept driving

"No, don't please, let me try to hit them back" Damion begged

"I want you to learn more about the world, maybe even fall in love, just know am always with you" Max said and opened Damion door and pushed him out of the car

Damion rolled out just to see Max drive the car closer to the other cars, he pulled out his gun and from the window gunned down four of their pursuers, he kept driving until he was closed enough to the remaining pursuers

"Join me in hell you sons of bitches" Max screamed and BOOM, his car exploded along with the other jeep around, all falling off the cliff

A wave of sadness went into him he dropped and tears streamed down his eyes, his uncle Max was no more, Damion spent time there before looking at the car, it was still burning, he got up and went down the cliff before he walked up towards the car

Totally disregarding the heat from the fire and the burns he would receive, he pulled the door, and pulled out the remaining pieces of Max he could bring with his hands, he didn't mind the gory image of Max, which had his body burned, his flesh melting with his bone sticking out

Damion walked with the dead Max and walked towards the forest, he laid him down and used his hands to dig the ground, he dug and dug till he reached 4 Feet, and he placed Max inside and closed it

"Uncle Max, they WILL PAY FOR WHAT THEY DID EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WITH PAY" Damion said with his eyes radiating an even eerier feeling

Damion felt pain in his legs and realized he had hurt his leg when Max paused him off, he limped back to the spot and pulled off two men and stuffed them into their own car and walked away, he had only one desire, make it to the city, learn about life and bring hell to those bastards

Just then he heard a muffling voice, he followed it and walked up to a hole, he was surprised one there, he looked inside and saw a young girl about around a year younger than him, she was gagged and tied but she was still trying to scream, he watched her silently till she noticed him

" Mmmmmhp" She gag silenced her screams

"You need help, "Damion slowly said

Somehow she managed to spit out the gag in her mouth out

"And your injured" She replied

"Do you know how I can get into the city" Damion asked

"Help me and I will personally take you there" she said

"Alright" Damion said and helped her up

"Thanks" She said, and looked up, surprisingly she was blond just like him only with blue clear eyes

"Come take me to the city" Damion said as he stood after untying her

"Whoa, we will go, but first who are you?" She asked

"To the city" Damion said indifferently

"Fine, let's go Am Kendra by the way" She said and turned as her black straight hair flowed down

She kept trying to strike up a conversation with Damion but he won't talk, Damion figured out she was rich and was kidnapped to die here but that wasn't his business he had to get to the city and reach Theodore

They managed to arrive in the morning, tired and worn out, Damion came into the City for the first time, he turned and tried to imitate the way to haul a cab

Kendra saw how he was acting and realized what his intentions were

"Hey do you want haul a cab" Kendra asked

"Yeah" Damion

"Damn, that's not how to do it, there you can get in" Kendra said and hauled him a cab

"Thanks, my name is Damion by the way" Damion entered and the cab drove away

"What a strange dude" Kendra muttered as she hauled and entered another cab
