Chapter 26 - Goblins

The sun timidly filtered through the dense treetops, creating a play of light and shadow in the forest. Sebastian and Aurora cautiously moved forward, making their way through a tangled path of roots and bushes. The fresh air was filled with natural fragrances, and the sound of birds and the wind whispering through the leaves filled the atmosphere.

After a challenging journey, they finally arrived at a clearing where the tribe of goblins was located. The goblins were small beings, but their cunning eyes and defiant attitude made them formidable opponents. The tribe consisted of several scattered groups, each with its own hierarchy and leadership.

Sebastian and Aurora hid behind a bush, observing how the goblins went about their daily activities. They were outnumbered, but Sebastian knew that his skill and strategy could compensate for that difference.

"These goblins are more cunning than I thought," murmured Sebastian in a low voice. "We must be careful when facing them."

Aurora nodded, tightly gripping her sword. Although she was clumsy in her movements, her explosive strength allowed her to cleave goblins in two with a single strike. It was an interesting balance between her clumsiness and her destructive potential.

Right at that moment, Sebastian infused mana into his appraisal stone and pointed it towards the goblins, revealing their stats:

The stone shone brightly as it displayed detailed information about the goblins, providing Sebastian with a strategic view of his enemies. With this newfound understanding, Sebastian quickly devised his attack plan and communicated the goblins' weaknesses to Aurora, increasing their chances of success in battle.

Aurora nodded, mentally preparing herself for the confrontation. She was aware that her clumsiness could put her at a disadvantage, but she trusted in her strength and Sebastian's guidance to overcome any obstacles.

The moment of attack came when Sebastian identified a group of goblins that seemed to be the strongest in the tribe. "Aurora, go for that group of goblins. I'll support you from a distance with my arrows," Sebastian instructed.

Aurora nodded with determination and plunged into the fray. Her sword gleamed with a radiant energy as she made her way through the goblins, using her immense strength to bring them down one by one. Although her movements were clumsy, her power was astonishing, and the goblins fell before her like leaves carried by the wind.

Meanwhile, Sebastian kept his distance and shot his arrows with deadly accuracy. His aim was to weaken the goblins attempting to ambush Aurora, making it easier for her to face them. As the arrows found their mark, the goblins grew weaker, leaving them vulnerable to Aurora's attacks.

The battle grew more intense, and the screams of the goblins mixed with the sound of Aurora's sword clashing against them. Sebastian watched every move Aurora made, seeking opportunities to assist her in her fight. On several occasions, he shot his arrows just in time to deflect an attack that could have reached Aurora.

Amidst the exchange of blows, Aurora and Sebastian found moments to communicate. "Watch out to your right, Aurora!" Sebastian shouted as he shot an arrow that halted a goblin charging towards her.

Aurora nodded, grateful for the warning. As they pressed forward, they protected each other and supported each other at every step of the battle.

The goblin tribe surged forward, roaring and brandishing their primitive weapons. Aurora could feel her heart pounding, but she wouldn't let fear hold her back. With a battle cry, she lunged forward, moving with surprising agility.

The goblins rushed at her, but Aurora was faster. With her sword, she performed clumsy but powerful movements, striking at the goblins around her. Each blow was a testament to her strength, but the girl didn't stop. Her feet moved gracefully, jumping and dodging the goblins' attacks.

Meanwhile, Sebastian kept his distance, shooting arrows with deadly precision. Each arrow that hit a goblin released its poison, weakening the enemies and diminishing their resistance. The goblins fell one after another, but their numbers seemed endless.

Aurora, sword in hand, made a daring move. She threw herself to the ground, rolling between the goblins' legs, and with a well-placed kick, knocked several of them down. She quickly stood up and continued her frenzied dance with the sword.

Sebastian, taking advantage of Aurora's distraction, shot an arrow at the goblin leader. The poison quickly spread through his body, weakening him and sowing chaos among his followers. Without their leader, the goblin tribe became even more wild and disorganized.

Aurora, capitalizing on the confusion, used her hands and feet to perform agile movements, throwing off the remaining goblins' balance. Kicks and punches flew in all directions, knocking down her adversaries. Her sword continued to cut through the air with brute force, finding its mark and inflicting devastating wounds.

The battlefield filled with shouts and roars, mixed with the sound of Aurora's sword and Sebastian's poisonous arrows. The resistance of the goblins grew weaker, but there were still a few stubborn ones left.

Finally, in one last effort, Aurora channeled all her strength into a powerful blow with her sword. The weapon cleanly cut through the last goblin, causing it to collapse to the ground. The battle was over. Aurora and Sebastian met in the center of the battlefield, exhausted but victorious.
