I couldn't sleep all night due to my several thoughts. Asides being Vincent's mate, I have gotten myself involved with his father who seemed to be a hard man. How was I going to convince Vincent to return home when even his father couldn't? My head was filled with numerous thoughts of possibilities that he might kill me if you dared to mention it to him. I couldn't place a finger on the reason why Vince refused to return to his family and lived here alone. I was guessing that they were against his relationship with Hazel and he came here to be with her. Or maybe he didn't have a good relationship with his father. Remembering how he reacted that day when he found out that I met his father and had his card with me.
The sudden ringtone of my mobile phone distracted me from my thoughts and I picked it up. Bruno was the only one I assumed to be calling me because he was the only one who had my number. Instead, it was an anonymous number that called.
