Upon returning, the man stated that with a majority of forces moving down south in pursuit of the demon creatures, areas have felt less pressure to hide.
At least, that's what it seems like as he slumps onto a chair with an ice pack on his leg.
"It's surprising, humans—I mean, we—have the ability to fend off such creatures, don't you think?" Draven responds confidently, "It's about the efforts we make to do good and not about the abilities we hold."
"Even if we had no power, there would still be humans or even other creatures who would cling to life and do whatever they can to persevere," I reply, getting a burst of images in my mind of two men fighting a demon with no hope of winning.
Putting a hand over my head, I feel confused about where these memories are coming from, while Draven walks up and puts a hand on my shoulder, asking if everything is alright.
"Yes, just getting some withdrawal from the fight, I feel," I reply.
