Emma POV:
I yell Desmond's name as I rush at the stranger, attempting to stab him in the side with my blade. To my horror, I hear a loud SNAP as it barely breaks the skin.
He instantly sideswipes me, inflicting a deep gash in my side and throwing me into the wall.
Coughing up blood, I witness Liza trying to shoot him, but he casually walks up to her. In my haste, I try to throw a grenade, but he quickly catches and crushes it, resulting in a small blast that leaves minor damage, if anything, in his palm.
My heart sinks as Elizabeth reaches for one of her primer grenades. However, the Man in white swiftly snaps her neck, rendering her lifeless before dropping her to the ground.
In that split second, I grab another grenade, but he closes the distance slowly and steadily. My hand slips, and in a mad rage, I throw one of my purple vials directly at his face.
The Man lets out a blood-curdling scream as it burns him intensely.
His face begins to transform, with horns sprouting from his head and his skin turning a darkish red, adorned with two black stripes on each cheek.
Stunned by this sight, I take a defensive stance, preparing to counter whatever he might unleash. But in an instant, he impales me on the side.
He looks me dead in the eyes, accusing me of burning him with witchcraft. As he pierces through my left lung, I cough up blood. Everything slowly fades to black.
When I open my eyes again, I see Sean running straight toward me, looking more handsome than ever.
With shock and fear in his eyes, he pleads for me to relax. But my only thought now is to hand him the last vial. Maybe, just maybe, Sean can fight this Man.
As he takes the vial, he whispers in my ear to be ready before gently lowering me back down, and I close my eyes.
Arthur POV:
Exhausted and gasping for air, I cover my right eye in confusion about what I have just seen. It must have been the events, but it makes no sense why I saw this.
I try to calm myself as much as possible, processing the information. In the midst of this, I must have gone deaf because I didn't hear Sean running up to me, asking what was wrong.
He slaps me and says, "Snap out of it! What's going on?" I quickly respond without knowing, and everything becomes a blur.
But I witnessed all their deaths when I came into contact with Desmond. Sean points out that my hair has turned a pale white from its original black.
At this point, I know some crazy stuff is going on, like out of those annoying shows Sean is obsessed with. I ask Sean for his hand to stand up, and as soon as I grab it, everything becomes a blur again, and I am flooded with images of us dying repeatedly.
From fleeing the facility and being hunted down to hiding and being slaughtered, endless images of us being killed by the same creature. I think to myself, could this be a future foresight?
Eventually, an image of us both fighting and injuring the demon comes to mind. I don't know what else to call this creature, but this image of us fighting fragments into many possibilities. Before anything else can come up,
I am snapped out of my daze by Sean, asking if I'm okay again.
What seemed like an hour of images and processing deaths was but a mere second or two. I tell Sean that it might sound crazy, but I have some foresight into the future, and what attacked our friends is going to come after us.
Sean cuts me off and says, "Well, we can't just let that creature walk away after what it did to Emma."
I have a bit of a shocked look on my face, but I bring myself back down, understanding that Sean hasn't seen what I have about this creature, so it's normal for him to be overly optimistic.
I take a deep breath and let Sean know I'm okay but don't like having white hair. But enough of that. You might find this easy to believe, but I saw countless endings of us dying in numerous ways. However, the only outcome that became questionable and hazy was a direct approach in the main lobby. Even then, I saw us dying, but it was more uncertain before I snapped back.
Sean finally responds after a moment with a stone-cold look on his face.
"One I haven't ever seen, possibly. This bastard will not get away with this! Just tell me what I need to do to get revenge for everyone."
"Right," I respond slowly. "So, from what I'm processing and from the visions I had, the best approach is a hands-on approach, tag teaming. In my vision, Emma could inflict actual damage with a knife, whereas bullets did nothing.
I guess it had something to do with him not expecting the strike and being unable to prepare. So, I'm proposing you go in and try to distract him while I catch him off guard. Also, it's worth mentioning that Emma's perfume seemed to burn his skin."
Sean grimaces at every mention of her. "Finally, our grenades will be useless if he crushes them, as he seems to be able to if these visions are correct. Liza noticed this and was going to send this entire building to hell, but he got to her before she could detonate her pressure grenades."
