"Evidence?" Sean glanced at Durun, a contemptuous smile playing on his lips. "If you're looking for evidence that your opponent can't refute, I don't have it."
Durun's expression darkened further, his menacing aura practically tangible.
Alfred subtly shifted to protect Cecilia behind him. This movement intensified the already tense atmosphere in the audience hall. Harvey, taken aback by Alfred's sudden action, was momentarily at a loss. Old Peter, too, shifted slightly, moving from Durun's side to stand beside him, his gaze intently fixed on Alfred.
The only constant figures in the room were Sean, still wearing his scornful smile, Durun, radiating an aura of menace, and Cecilia, whose face displayed unchanging curiosity regarding the unfolding situation.
