It originated from modifications to the Gorot architectural style, coming into existence in the mid-Renaissance era. It had been popular for a time but eventually fell out of favor because it was too gloomy and oppressive, lacking the upward spiritual quality of the Gorot architectural style.
Judging from this, the old and dilapidated house had a history of at least several centuries.
