Alfred's heavy battle-axe struck fiercely at the back of an Earthbound Immortal. The tremendous shockwave shattered the armor on the neck and revealed the slightly dark skin underneath. However, the power of this single blow was ultimately nullified by the outer layer of armor, failing to decapitate the Earthbound Immortal. Instead, it staggered forward a few steps, disrupting its coordinated position with two other Earthbound Immortals.
Yet, this was sufficient.
Sean took a step back and exited the encirclement of the three Earthbound Immortals. He swung his longsword, intercepting the spear of another Earthbound Immortal beside him.
With a clear "ding," the spear collided with Sean's sword.
This particular Earthbound Immortal was clearly skilled in using spears. As the spear hit Sean's sword, he subtly turned his wrist, causing the spear's tip to rise from the sword's edge. Stepping forward, he extended the spear towards Sean's head.
