They are in this city because of Jay's intention to buy the oldest hotel in the world on Lake Geneva.
"Can you buy the hotel school group in the Alps on Rue?" Jay said to his assistant, stopping in his tracks.
"What did you say, boss? Out of nowhere, you want to spend money to buy the hotel school in this small town. Are you sure?" Ben looked sharply at his boss, who had never made any decision based on his feelings.
"Use my private funds to buy the hotel school, and we will stay and work from this city. Make sure to bring your team here," Jay instructed his assistant, outlining his work plan.
"What about the Dubai plan? We need to go there next for the hotel's soft opening," Ben reminded his boss of their next scheduled commitment.
"We can go there for the opening and return the same day. I am adamant about staying in this city until I can reunite with the girl who has managed to steal my soul," Jay insisted.
Ben was surprised to see his boss so distracted. He was not even focusing on his job, only thinking about a girl. However, Ben couldn't refute his boss's decision about their future. All he could do was nod and do his best to acquire the educational group for his boss.
Jay was deeply affected by this one girl. The sweet smell of her shampoo mixed with the scent of white roses from her body still lingered in his nose. It drove him crazy and made him miss her even more. All his idealism about living without emotional entanglements had crashed down, overwhelmed by worldly desires. It was the best time of his entire existence.
Ben started delegating tasks to his general administration team to acquire the hotel school education group. Jay looked out the window with its classic arch, overlooking the Alps and Lake Geneva. The dark view outside made his thoughts even darker. This was the first time in his life he longed for a girl.
He couldn't focus on anything related to his business empire, feeling cranky due to his body's unusual desires. It had been the best sleep and rest he'd had in a while. He sat in the dark room with his favorite cognac in hand, unable to sleep without her in his arms.
Elsa stretched in the morning as the sun began to peek through the curtains of her room. She felt both refreshed and hungry. The thought of black coffee made her mouth water.
She walked out of bed to the bathroom to wash her face and put on casual clothes. She grabbed her small purse. Today, she wore flat shoes and black leggings under a casual dress. Elsa applied natural makeup and put her hair up in a messy bun, complementing her tall neck.
Locking her room, she walked down to the cafeteria, which had only a few people. On Sunday morning, many were still hungover from the party the night before. Elsa went to the coffee area, poured herself a cup of black coffee, and took a corner table with two slices of toasted bread with Nutella.
She enjoyed the view of the snow-capped Alps. The cold breeze creeping into the warm cafeteria made her feel even cozier. Her good breakfast was interrupted when Luu sat down in front of her.
Luu followed and joined Elsa during breakfast. Being polite as usual, Elsa engaged in conversation with him. It wasn't long before Jaisal also joined her at the table.
Elsa wasn't someone who enjoyed talking to many people, but she remained bubbly to hide her true introverted nature.
After breakfast, she walked out to the garden with her cup of coffee and lit a cigarette. She inhaled deeply, enjoying the coffee in the cold Swiss weather.
"Here's the coffee, babe," Oswaldo said, handing her a cup of coffee and giving her a peck on the cheek.
"Thank you… what are you doing out here? Where is Peter?" Elsa asked about his roommate.
"You know, the usual. Locked out of the room. Are you going to study for our group work?" Oswaldo asked.
"I would like to join your group too," Jack said, joining Elsa's table.
"Well, sorry, but my team already consists of six people: Elsa, Nini, Sara, Andre, Eric, and me," Oswaldo refused.
"I'm going to the church this morning and then walk around the lake. I'll be back in the afternoon and will let you know," Elsa answered her classmates about the project.
Patrick signaled to Elsa from inside the building. He was waiting with Andreas, Joanne, and Tina.
As they walked together past the biggest and oldest hotel in Montreux, Elsa noticed a familiar face.
Jay, who was planning to go back to her school, saw her pass in front of the hotel. This was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. His desire to have her by his side grew stronger and he became more determined. He had to have her tonight.
It didn't take long for him to reach the group. Ben followed his boss, who was running toward the group of students.
