Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Enchanting Feet of the Fairy (Part 2)

Through the misty haze, Wang Laowu noticed that her attitude had softened. He climbed towards her, his dark hands tightly gripping her skirt. With a pitiful tone, he pleaded, "Qingyi, Father knows you are understanding. Please, for Xiaoye's sake, let go of what happened this afternoon, as if it were nothing. Otherwise, you can consider Father as nothing, not worth your attention..."

Chu Qingyi looked at the dark and dry hand on her pristine skirt, feeling extremely annoyed. She subtly shifted her body to the side and softly replied, "Fine."

The single word sounded like heavenly music to Wang Laowu's ears. He rubbed his eyes in disbelief and, upon realizing that everything was indeed real, he burst into a joyful smile. He rolled up his sleeves and wiped his tears and runny nose haphazardly, their mixture sticking to his robe.

"Father will wash your feet, wash them. Consider it a gesture of apology," Wang Laowu cautiously said, fearing he might say something wrong and upset her.

Even though she was unwilling deep down, upon hearing his words, Chu Qingyi could only nod in agreement.

Wang Laowu, now granted permission, felt overjoyed. He brought the basin of water and placed it at her feet. As if holding a treasure, he cradled her feet in his hands, his actions delicate and careful. Then, he gently removed her shoes.

Chu Qingyi felt a furrow forming on her brow, finding this act inappropriate. However, considering the events that had just unfolded, she refrained from speaking up and simply closed her eyes, deciding to ignore it.

The fairy-like feet had no unpleasant odour but emitted a faint, pleasant fragrance that delighted the senses.

This was the first time Wang Laowu had such close contact with Chu Qingyi, especially with her delicate and charming feet. It excited him to the point where he struggled to contain himself, his heart pounding intensely.

One foot, then another, Wang Laowu removed the two pure white socks from her feet, revealing a pair of slender and delicate feet. Ten dainty toes elegantly stretched out, and the fragrance grew stronger.

He longed to immediately engulf each jade-like toe in his mouth, but he feared it would anger Chu Qingyi. Thus, he suppressed his urge.

As Chu Qingyi closed her eyes, she saw nothing but darkness. The sensations from her feet became increasingly apparent. With each movement from Wang Laowu, a tingling sensation spread across the soles of her feet, accompanied by a peculiar comfort. Especially when his rough hands glided over her skin, it felt as if tiny electric currents were dancing on her skin, spreading throughout her body.

Wang Laowu held her feet in his palms, treating them like precious treasures. He couldn't help but marvel at how even her feet, like a flawless piece of art, were so alluring, making it impossible to let go.

Using one hand, he tested the water's temperature, then scooped some clear water into his palm, allowing it to gently ripple over her feet. The water flowed smoothly along the smooth arch of her feet, dripping into the basin.

At the moment the water touched her feet, Chu Qingyi's body trembled slightly. The unfamiliar sensation emanated from the soles of her feet, and she couldn't quite explain whether it was due to the water's temperature or Wang Laowu's scorching palms.

After repeating this several times, Wang Laowu submerged both feet into the basin, causing the water to ripple, reaching up to her ankles.

He crouched on the ground, his dark and skinny hands immersed in the basin, delicately caressing her feet and caring for her ankles. The smooth and tender skin trembled, creating ripples in the water, like a reflection.

The fairy's feet were not warm like an ordinary person's; instead, they exuded a chilly sensation.

Wang Laowu's hands were enveloped by slightly warm water, yet his palms felt ice-cold. The contrasting sensations created a unique experience for his hands, and an intense stimulation made his lower region uncontrollably stand at attention, pitching a tent.

He glanced anxiously at Chu Qingyi and found her beautiful eyes tightly shut, seemingly oblivious to his state. Only then did he relax, no longer worried that she would notice his embarrassing arousal.

Being half crouched, he assumed she couldn't see the awkward bulge in his groin.

Now fully engrossed in washing her feet, Wang Laowu felt that everything before him was surreal, like a dream. He had thought that the distance between him and Fairy Qingyi would grow farther, but he never expected that he would be able to hold her delicate feet in his hands and caress them!

If all this were just a figment of his imagination, he would willingly stay in this beautiful dream forever and never wake up.

But the glaring whiteness surrounding him reminded him that all of this was not a dream.

He was truly touching the fairy's feet!

How could Wang Laowu, who had yearned for the fairy for so long, not be excited? Even the hands in the water basin trembled slightly. If it weren't for the fear of Chu Qingyi noticing, he would probably be dancing with joy.

In stark contrast to Wang Laowu's current state of mind, Chu Qingyi felt an overwhelming complexity within her. Apart from her parents, her feet had rarely been touched by anyone, not even her husband, Wang Ye.

Yet now, her father-in-law, an old man in his sixties, was casually caressing them!

What astonished her even more was that she couldn't muster the slightest resistance. Instead, she experienced a strange pleasure.

As the rough palms touched the soles of her feet, constantly stroking and kneading them, the warmth from his palms enveloped her dainty and slender feet, creating an indescribable sense of relief that made her want to moan softly.

Moaning sounds echoed in the room. A sense of shame spread from the depths of the heart, but the words of restraint remained stuck in the throat, unable to be uttered. How could Wang Laowu, whose thoughts were fixated on the delicate jade feet, understand the immense impact his actions tonight had on Chu Qingyi's heart? At this moment, he gently caressed her translucent toes, using two fingers to knead and press each one, occasionally touching the gaps between her toes with his fingertips.

"Mmm..." A faint moan escaped from Chu Qingyi's mouth, so feeble that even she herself was unaware of it. The warm sensation from her sensitive toes sent a surge of electricity through her body, causing every cell to tremble and pulsate. Even the meridians within her body became unusually excited, faintly emitting a pale blue light.

The serene core of her heart was no longer calm; it was unusually active without any external stimulation. It spun rapidly above her heart, forming a small vortex as the heavenly energy rotated within, emitting a faint humming sound, filled with pleasure.

Chu Qingyi, pure as a blank sheet of paper, had never experienced such a feeling before. With closed eyes, she indulged in the moment. Any previous feelings of shame or disgust vanished completely, leaving only the stimulating sensation from the jade feet, akin to a whirlwind sweeping through her body, leaving behind a sense of relief.

In the pitch-black and quiet night, inside a shabby and dilapidated house, illuminated by flickering candlelight, a stunningly beautiful woman stood with her feet half-squatting, half-kneeling in front of an old man with white hair, a haggard appearance, and an ugly face. Judging solely by his appearance, he was already well into his sixties. He hunched over, using his rough, skinny, and blackened hands to wash and rub the woman's pure, tender, and delicate jade feet.

The old man's face contorted with extreme excitement, his triangular eyes fixated on the jade feet, filled with a perverted desire, as if he couldn't resist pouncing on them and biting and licking them in the next second.

The woman exuded a cold, noble, and otherworldly aura. Yet, she allowed the old man to play with her jade feet, her beautiful eyes tightly shut. Her face, possessing the wisdom to bring prosperity or catastrophe to the world, was extraordinarily captivating, revealing a coldness that forbade anyone from defiling her.

However, a hint of pleasure seemed to linger between her eyebrows, as if she were enjoying the moment with closed eyes.

No one could have imagined that Chu Qingyi, revered as a fairy by the masses, would have such intimate contact with a dishevelled old man in a border town. If this scene were to be witnessed by someone, it would undoubtedly cause a tremendous stir in the land of Mysterious Continent. Countless admirers would not tolerate such desecration of the esteemed Fairy Qingyi and many would come running to tear the wretched old man into pieces!

Fortunately, apart from the two involved, no one else was aware of this scene.

The night had grown late, and the entire city of Jinling was shrouded in darkness and silence. Occasionally, the sound of a dog barking broke the stillness of the night, echoing through the streets and alleys.

In the eastern wing of the Wang family's old courtyard, the dripping of candle wax slowly flowed down from the wick, accumulating at the base. The dim candlelight gently flickered, illuminating the four corners of the room. The silhouettes of the father-in-law and daughter-in-law were reflected on the earth-yellow walls. In this moment, they each had their own thoughts, seemingly oblivious to the passage of time.

"Father, Qingyi, I'm back!" A voice filled with joy sounded from outside the door. It was Wang Ye, who had hurriedly returned home for the night.

Startled, the two locked eyes, panic evident in their gazes.

Wang Laowu, at a loss for words, frantically stood up from the ground, rubbing his dry face with his rough hands, trying to erase any traces of tears.

Chu Qingyi, usually composed and unaffected, also felt flustered. She quickly recited a spell silently, activating a spatial storage device, and placed the basin and shoes inside.

Then, under Wang Laowu's astonished gaze, she activated her cultivation technique. A faint mist of heavenly energy enveloped Chu Qingyi, completely concealing her figure. From the outside, it was impossible to see what was happening inside.

After a few moments, the heavenly energy dissipated, and Chu Qingyi's clothes had already been refreshed, even her shoes and socks were neatly in place.

Wang Laowu, who had witnessed everything, had his mouth agape in astonishment, his chin almost hitting the floor. Besides the slap he received in the afternoon, this was the first time he had witnessed such a magical heavenly technique. Once again, his longing for cultivating immortality grew stronger in his heart.

By the time the two had composed themselves, Wang Ye, brimming with excitement, had already stepped into the house.

"Qingyi, look at what I brought you... Huh? Father, weren't you supposed to be resting by this time? Why are you still in Qingyi's room so late today?" Wang Ye, holding two bags of snacks, opened the door with a light-hearted step, assuming that only Chu Qingyi would be inside.

"Uh, well, I..." Wang Laowu, nervously, found himself at a loss for words, unsure of how to explain to his son.

"Dad brought me some fruits," Chu Qingyi pointed to a basket of brightly coloured wild fruits placed in the corner of the room, silently interjecting.

Grateful, Wang Laowu glanced at Chu Qingyi but found her face devoid of any ripples, as if nothing had happened. Seeing her calm demeanour, Wang Laowu's panicked emotions gradually subsided.

"Father, thank you. I appreciate your hard work during my absence. Working in the fields during the day is already tiring enough, and you still have to take care of Qingyi when I come back. Father, I promise to take good care of you in the future and let you enjoy a comfortable life." Wang Ye looked at Wang Laowu, who was gradually aging with greying hair, and felt a hint of sadness. He emotionally expressed himself, his voice choked with emotion.

What Wang Ye didn't know was that before they returned, Wang Laowu had indeed been working in the fields from sunrise to sunset, sweating like a typical farmer. However, since Chu Qingyi was injured and Wang Ye left to hunt demons and gain experience, he lost interest in working in the fields and stayed at home all day long. It was the ancestral land of the Wang family, passed down through generations, and he had let it go to waste. In the past, he wouldn't even think of neglecting it, even if it cost him his life. But times had changed, and he wished to be with Chu Qingyi all the time, willing to do anything for her, even if it meant being a mere patch on her body. The ancestral land had long been thrown to the back of his mind.

"Xiaoye, a family shouldn't have secrets. Now that Qingyi has become part of our Wang family, how can I bear to see her suffer?" Wang Laowu avoided eye contact, unable to meet Wang Ye's sincere gaze. His son was so understanding and filial, but he found himself having inappropriate thoughts about his daughter-in-law...

"Father, let's not talk about that. I bought some pastries. I was originally planning to bring them to you tomorrow, but it seems unnecessary now. Come and taste them. According to the people in the city, the craftsmanship of this pastry shop is simply extraordinary!" Wang Ye regained his composure and enthusiastically invited Wang Laowu to join him in tasting the pastries.

Wang Laowu eagerly agreed and picked up a piece of osmanthus cake, putting it into his mouth. "Is it the Linglong Pastry Shop in the east of the city? It's a century-old brand! I only had it once when I was young, and I couldn't bear to eat it afterwards. But the taste has always stayed with me!" The cake had a delicate texture and a rich aroma of osmanthus spread on the tip of his tongue. Wang Laowu praised it while giving a thumbs-up.

"I'll buy it for you every day from now on!" Wang Ye dutifully replied.

Chu Qingyi, who had been silently watching the joyful scene of the father and son, especially the smile in Wang Ye's eyes, fell into contemplation. She was now glad she hadn't told Wang Ye about the incident that afternoon. Even if it meant keeping it to herself, she had to maintain his smile.

"What are you thinking about? Why so lost in thought?" Just as Chu Qingyi was lost in her thoughts, Wang Ye walked over and embraced her gently, asking softly.

Chu Qingyi snapped out of her daze and couldn't help but get lost in Wang Ye's tender and watery eyes. She smiled and shook her head.

"Well, these pastries are delicious. You should try some too." Saying that, Wang Ye picked up a piece of lightly pink petal-shaped pastry and held it to her mouth.

She slightly parted her rosy lips, and her dainty teeth took a small bite of the pastry. It was soft and sweet, with a delightful blend of rose fragrance and sticky rice, a perfect fusion that delighted her taste buds. After finishing the remaining half, Wang Ye, with mumbled words, said, "The Heavenly Master's Sect doesn't have such delicious food. When we go back, we must bring some for the Sect Master and the Master to taste."

Chu Qingyi trembled slightly in his embrace, and she realized that they had been in Jinling City for over a month now. She couldn't help but feel a longing for the Heavenly Master's Sect...

Meanwhile, Wang Laowu, who was still enjoying the pastries, heard the three words " Heavenly Master's Sect" from Wang Ye's mouth and his heart skipped a beat. Suddenly, the pastries in his hand lost their flavour. Though a month wasn't long, he had already grown accustomed to the company of Wang Ye and his wife. If one day they were to leave him behind and return to the Heavenly Master's Sect, he would be left alone in the vast Wang family courtyarf.

Thinking of this, he lost his appetite and reluctantly swallowed the last bite of the pastry. He bid farewell to Wang Ye and his wife and turned back to his room.

"When you reach the breakthrough of Yin-Yang Convergence, we will immediately return to the Heavenly Master's Sect, alright?" After Wang Laowu left, Chu Qingyi hesitated for a long time before voicing her thoughts that had been brewing for some time.

Wang Ye's body stiffened at her words. "Qingyi, your injuries haven't fully healed yet. Let's wait until you recover before making any plans."

"But..."

"Qingyi, when that day really comes, we can think about this matter, okay?" he interrupted, not allowing her to continue.

As she watched him undress and lie down, she knew that it was pointless to say more. She had to swallow the unfinished words in her stomach. The late night was quiet, and the hazy moonlight gently spilled into the room, filling it with tenderness.

Tonight, the couple didn't embrace each other as they usually did before sleep. Instead, they lay back to back, each burdened with their own thoughts, and fell into a deep sleep.
