"I am sorry but I have to decline."
"What! Did you join a team already?"
"No. But I want to be alone for the time being."
"But wait!"
Without letting him finish I entered the training room. I didn't quite feel comfortable by how he just met me yesterday and already asking me to join his group. Since I already saw his soul I could realise that he is just being excessively kind to me. Maybe he actually wanted to offer me protection without expecting anything in return . But showing pure kindness towards strangers like that is stupid.
"Don't just mindlessly group up with anyone you meet. You should group up with people from your caliber . Or the other members could be used as your weakness by your enemies. This would bad for the whole group."
The door of the training room closed, making him unable to talk with me anymore.

I also noticed how the rewards for the same type of encounter decreased. It means I can't repeat the same type of encounter again and again to benefit from it.
Inside the training hall the huge walls of the hall welcomed me. The training hall was a spacious, futuristic chamber filled with cutting-edge equipment and technology. Screens lined the walls, displaying simulations and data, while holographic projections added a touch of sophistication to the atmosphere.
"""Welcome to the advanced training room designed specifically for honing envision techniques—a space where mastery is forged through relentless challenge and unfaltering determination."""
"Select your desired difficulty level," the disembodied voice echoed through the room.
"Let's start with the lowest," I replied confidently, eager to test my skills.
As the countdown began, anticipation pulsed through the room. Five, four, three, two, one...
A metallic click pierced the air as the first arrow hurtled toward me from the left. With lightning reflexes, I dodged it effortlessly. Another arrow followed, then another, until thirty arrows had been launched. It was a manageable challenge and I craved more.
"Increase the difficulty to the next level," I commanded, hungering for a greater test.
As the difficulty escalated, so did the intensity of the trial. The arrows flew faster, more unpredictably. A silent arrow caught me off guard, testing not just my reflexes but also my heightened senses.
"I can't rely on sound anymore," I observed, adapting swiftly to the new challenge.
With each passing second, the barrage of arrows intensified. Two arrows now came at me simultaneously—one audible, the other silent. Yet, I persevered, honing my ability to anticipate and evade.
On the third difficulty it became too much for me to handle by my five senses. The arrows became too fast to see, too silent to notice them through sounds and too many to focus on each of them.
Right at this moment I started relying solely on my soul sense. In just a blink of an eye everything became so clear. All the path of the arrows became visible to me. Relying on soul sense made me realise how easier it became than both sense of sight and sense of sound combined.
But with each passing moment, my exhaustion grew, but not my resolve.
"Raise the difficulty to level four," I declared, determined to push my limits even further.
As four arrows surged toward me with dizzying speed, I focused every fiber of my being on evasion. Yet, despite my best efforts, I faltered. Two arrows found their mark, signaling my defeat.
I guess even this has its limits. Even if I can sense it, my body is not fast enough to react to everything.

Cafeteria
Every day there are three free meals. From 5 AM to 11 PM. But the waiting line is always long, no matter what.
But unlike yesterday I didn't use my points to instantly get my meal. I waited in the long line to get my meal. I also noticed that I was grabbing less attention than I did yesterday.
Just as I expected, this time when returning to the dormitory I didn't get ambushed by six gang members trying to beat the shit out of me.
But this time there stood 6 new people Infront of me with the slight difference that all of them were holding a weapons for themselves.
It is banned to use any elemental or mana-related ability, skill, or spell. When they are used, the watch will notify the academy. However, that doesn't apply to weapons.
The gang arrived in front of me and stopped.
"It looks like you don't have a weapon. So I guess we can settle it peacefully if you just hand over your points," said one of the gang members.
"Seriously? I didn't even use my points today."

[Name: Fight against the gang who came to seat your points.

Failure: None. ]
"Oh! It was a hidden mission last time."
One of the gang members walked towards Kardama and pointed his sword at him.
"What the hell are you blabbing about? Did you go crazy?
He couldn't finish his words as a fist kissed his nose. The gang member started groaning. Blood streamed relentlessly from his nostril, which was in a weird shape.
"Why the heck does it hurt so much?" the gang member asked as the others prepared their weapons.
As the chaos erupted around me, adrenaline surged through my veins, sharpening my senses to a razor's edge. A female gang member drew back her bowstring, ready to unleash a deadly arrow. Meanwhile, two male gang members brandishing spears charged toward me, their intentions clear.
In a flurry of movement, a girl with a rapier darted to my left, while another boy wielding a sword closed in on my right, attempting to catch me off guard from behind.
The arrow hurtled toward my chest, but as it entered the realm of my soul sense, time seemed to slow, every detail crystallizing with breathtaking clarity. With lightning reflexes fueled by my heightened perception, I sidestepped, evading the deadly projectile with ease.
Seizing the moment, I snatched the arrow mid-flight, my soul sense guiding my movements with preternatural precision. With the arrow in hand, I surged forward, closing the distance between myself and the attackers.
As the two spearmen lunged toward me, their thrusts seemingly inevitable, I remained calm, my soul sense alerting me to their every move. Dodging their attacks became second nature, their efforts futile against my heightened awareness.
Now dangerously close to one of the spearmen, I seized the opportunity to strike. With swift, decisive movements, I plunged the arrow into his chest, once, twice. The first strike found its mark, but the second met resistance as the spearman desperately attempted to block, resulting in the arrow shattering upon impact. Despite the setback, I had inflicted damage, weakening my assailant and gaining the upper hand in the skirmish.
"Got you now," the other spearman taunted, his weapon poised for a lethal strike. But before he could make his move, I deftly shifted to the left, narrowly evading the attack aimed at my back.
As the bewildered spearman pondered my seemingly impossible evasion, a second arrow hurtled toward me with unprecedented velocity. With a smirk, I intercepted it effortlessly, my movements fluid and precise.
"Hehe, right on time. Thanks for the supply," I quipped, acknowledging the unwitting assistance.
With the second arrow in hand, I repeated the process with the other spearman, the outcome far less merciful this time. Despite his valiant attempts to defend himself, my relentless onslaught left him with grievous injuries, rendering him incapable of further combat.
Meanwhile, the girl with the rapier and the boy with the sword launched their own attacks, seeking to exploit the spearman's vulnerability. Yet, their efforts proved futile against my unparalleled skill and foresight.
As the girl with the bow unleashed another arrow and the boy with the broken nose charged toward me, a sense of invincibility surged within me. It was clear to me, deep down, that these adversaries posed no real threat.

Ten minutes later, I strolled toward my room, unscathed and victorious, my watch displaying an impressive increase of +50 Phoenix Points, along with an array of newfound weapons, arrows, and 8 soul essence.
Behind me lay six unconscious bodies—a testament to my prowess and dominance in combat.

The notification flashed across my vision, followed by a tantalizing reward,
[Reward: Weapon Storage Expansion.]
I couldn't help but feel a twinge of amusement at the disparity of the encounter—a lone fighter against six opponents, the odds stacked heavily. Truly, it was an unfair fight, but for them, not for me.
