The book was supposed to provide him with basic knowledge about the world in which he was going to be reborn. It mainly focused on the biggest existences in the world and displayed their details, such as the gods, the kingdoms, the powerful forces, or the strongest individuals. But it was giving him something like this-
---------------------------
My head hurts like hell.
Memories that don't belong to me rushed into my mind.
"This is... This is the memories of Lucas. Actaeon Lucas."
Lucas is the owner of this body.
He is an extra who appeared in the novel for a few chapters. He is known as the weakest student of Phoenix Academy. Later, he will be killed by a villain inside the Academy.
But now, all his memories are rushing into my mind. When he was young, because of his unique affinity "Blood," Lucas was abducted by a vampire count hoping to turn him into a powerful vampire servant. But the transformation failed. And Lucas was turned into an "Ex-Human." A bloodthirsty being that is not a vampire nor a human.
The count was furious at him. But instead of throwing him away, he pulled some strings and admitted Lucas to Phoenix Academy. Although everything was being observed by the Mother AI, loopholes still exist. The result of using the loopholes was Lucas being admitted into Phoenix Academy as rank 4999, the second to last one.
I looked at the date. The Academy starts in 7 days. I need to prepare for the academy. I can't let myself be killed by a villain.
I looked at my balance. The money is more than enough.
I bought some food, a few magic scrolls, torches, and a protective gear. To ensure my survival, I am going to collect some of the hidden treasures that was supposed to be discovered later in the novel.

"Ah! Fuck! Did this book turn into a novel?" asked the Demon King. But he checked it many times and realized that new words were continuously appearing on the white page. In other words, it was updating him with real-time events. But unlike in about the previous world, 'Eridia,' where he was able to switch between perspectives and places he wanted to know about, this time the perspective was fixed on this Lucas guy.
"This is not how this was supposed to be. It means something intervened in my reincarnation. Something is stopping me from being reborn the way I wanted to. This 'something' is also preventing me from knowing anything else about this world."
Even though the transcend ability lets him know about any information form anywhere, it still has its own weakness. It cannot uncover hidden knowledge or anything that's been deliberately concealed. It's not an all seeing ability.
"Alright, but time's running out. I'm about to be reborn. My whole memory will be locked until I'm 16, and even then, I'll only remember a bit. But after reading about the world, I think I need to change my plan. If this is where I'm going to be reborn, then I shouldn't go into a fight empty-handed."
"I don't think the novel will even need 16 years to end the story. I might even die before I turn 16 and remember who I am. I need something powerful to ensure my survival. But not something too chaotic that will bring me more trouble than it's worth."
He surveyed his transcendent domain, his eyes lingering on the countless golden shackles that ensnared his soul.
The urgency of the situation hit him, and he quickly assessed his surroundings. The process of reincarnation was nearing its completion. In that moment, he zeroed in on three specific chains. Two of them were swiftly located, and he commanded them to shatter.
These two chains had been used to contain two distinct chaotic forces. As he forcefully released them, he felt a shift within himself. But the act of breaking the chains came with its own set of penalties.
The moment the chains shattered, the chaotic power surged forth, unleashing its energy throughout his domain. However, the domain was vast, and the chaotic energy couldn't cover it all. As it spread, the energy became less concentrated than before.
And the golden and white chains that caged the chaotic energy began to disintegrate into light particles.
"It's such a waste , it took so much time and effort to build them."
He went looking for the next one.
The third chain was significantly larger and brighter than the previous two. He felt a twinge of unease at the thought of breaking it, having put so much effort into its construction. This chain was more special to him than any ability or power.
Unlike all other chains, this chain didn't cage any chaotic energy.
It was sealing his memories—the memories of his past lives. The good memories he didn't want to forget and the bad memories he couldn't forget. He had once sealed them both, not wanting to bring them with him into his new life.
The transcendent realm started to close, a significant portion vanishing into the darkness.
"It's happening," he murmured.
He quickly realized that the process of reincarnation had begun. The darkness was encroaching, swallowing the chains. It was a necessary step in the process of being reborn. The entire realm would be sealed off, as he couldn't reincarnate with it.
Instead of obliterating the chain like the previous two, he slammed his fist against it as hard as he could. A dark fracture appeared on one of its rings. He struck it again, widening the crack. Small pieces began to fall, and some parts of it started to disintegrate.
The Demon King relentlessly pounded his fist against the chain, each blow echoing through the empty expanse of his realm. He kept banging and banging, his determination unyielding, until the darkness devoured everything.

'That is definitely the weirdest dream I ever had.'
I saw myself punching a chain. It felt so familiar, and it looked so real. But no way. Me being the demon king, getting myself killed by a hero? Reincarnation? Reborn? I guess I am reading too many novels to dream of things like this.
I slowly opened my eyes. It was a great sleep. But unlike every day, instead of waking up in my bed, I awoke in an unfamiliar location.
Before I could freak out thinking about what was happening, I saw a blue screen in front of me and heard a voice in my head the following second.
[Greetings, Host. You have successfully transmigrated to a new world.]
"What the fuck is going on?"
