Zhang Xiu and Wang Chen bowed respectfully before Luo Mei but still held slightly confused gazes. Lots of questions were on their minds and they didn't even know where to start.
Luo Mei glanced at Zhang Xiu and took a few steps towards her, "Humph… so you're the chosen one, huh?" She asked and the latter shifted her gaze before scratching her head.
"So I'm called." She mentioned, but Luo Mei didn't seem satisfied with her answer.
"So you are called… or that's who you are?" She probed but this seemed to annoy Zhang Xiu but she tried to keep her temper in check.
"So I am called…" she repeated before looking sternly at Luo Mei, "…got a problem with that?" Wang Chen could feel an argument about to erupt and he felt like butting in but he had to hold himself back. At least until things turned sour or into a full-blown fight.
