This fic is how I started writing. It was the first thing I wrote. Due to that, you will notice that the quality of storytelling at the start is... messy. Just a forewarning. But it does get a lot better, and even the more average parts have a purpose in the future and some sort of pay offs (they're just not executed well.)
That being said, it is made a bit better as I update the style of writing in the first 10 chapters. The quality of my storytelling also gets better the farther it is.
Again, this is a forewarning. Even the bad aspects of my storytelling here I mention way later on and aknowledge within the story and the universe to make the best out of it. So all I ask is for a little bit of tolerance to the story at the beginning, as I've already heard a few complaints about it. I am aware, and I agree with many of the criticism. No need to comment the same thing again (unless you want to I guess, I can't stop you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).
And the character does NOT start strong. If you're looking for that, go elsewhere. He is also a very regular bloke, which means his mentality is not the best at the start. But that's the point. The kid grows into a more confident person as he adapts to this world.
