Chapter 22 - 22| Bachelors night

He is indeed super late. He has a meeting in the next thirty minutes and he hasn't gather up any credentials yet. He's walking as fast as he could to make sure he doesn't miss his meeting but first, he needs to quickly clarity some items. The investors from Canada must be on their way now.

He passed through his secretary's office. "Clifford, get the insights, I'm ready." Then he made his way towards Max's cabin. "I want to see the data for cross-checking and—" He shut the door immediately when he saw him making out with his secretary, Claudia, on the couch.

Disgusting. Annoying. Very stupid. He knew those two have been up to something lately. He could see the connection and attraction between them. Max barely come with him to work since he gathered the urge of driving. He takes her to work and drop her off and now, they've become a thing.

Wow. So wow.

He walked off to his office. Only to get there and saw his parents sitting on a couch arms crossed with his sister on the armchair.

"Ah, the prodigal son is finally getting settled, huh?" Ben stood up abruptly.

Definitely, Justin is not ready for this. He looked at his mom who was standing beside his father, giving him a grinning face in this kind of situation. Then, his eyes went back to his father. "Dad, whatever you heard is true. Happy now?"

Oh damn him, he just plug the shit out of the old man. "What I heard? No, I think it's a little bit of what I saw on TV, heard on radio and even got random interviews this afternoon."

Justin muttered something as he settles on his seat, swirling slowly without saying anything to the old man who is provoked.

It is very normal for Ben to be. Dating a girl with introduction of her to the family could be quite understanding but purposing to her….. "Damn! I haven't even seen her, met her family, knows where she came from, interview her to see if she's good for my boy or—"

"She's definitely not worth my brother, Daddy." Francesca is gonna drag this to the bottom. "Obviously."

Really, Francesca? Are you interfering in something that doesn't concerns you? Oh well, let's see.

Justin stood up with a huge scowl on his face. Ah, definitely the murderous look. "Get lost with your silly suggestions. I'm not marrying her for you and besides, who asked you if she's worth it? Of course she is. Have you looked at yourself in the mirror twice? Ha! Damn, you look like a little piece of hog and Priyanka is a billion times prettier than you."

Francesca gasp and fumed. She looked at Adela, seeking help. "Mom, did you just heard him? He just called me a piece of hog."

Adela will surely get an headache settling these two grownup adults who still acts like toddlers in her presence. She's trying to caution Francesca and Justin won't stop throwing words on her.

"You know what, I have a meeting in the next fifteen minutes and I gat to go—"

"Oh you sit down there, minster." Ben snapped and went to lock the door with the keys. "I'm still talking, you don't walk out of me."

Getting frustrated, Justin leaned on his desk and let out a deep sigh. "Dad, what is it you want to talk about?"

"The girl." Ben waved his hands briefly in the air, heavenwards. "You had a girlfriend and you never told us your family. You didn't even bring her home for proper introduction and today, we got a news from the media that the so-called president's son is getting married, hilarious."

"You're actually mocking your title, dad." Justin's lips pressed together.

"Fuck it off."

"Well, I actually called the media and press." Adela confessed like it's Sunday.

Justin tilts his head to one side, "Mom?"

"Come on, I needed the world to see how serious you've become and so also for those…..shitty, slutty, whores and harlots you've fucked—let them all know you'll be no longer be 'Dick cleaning' their asses."

Hmm, nice one, Adela, but Justin still doesn't like the idea of that paparazzi.

Ben settled on the couch, facing his son. "Am not saying you didn't do a good job trying to surprise the family—"

"It's not a surprise, Ben." Adela interfered. "I know her and she's a decent girl."

Oh wow, is she? "And her family? Have you met them yet?" Ben growled when she didn't answer. "Our son is bringing home a woman and you have no idea what her background is and here you are telling me it's not a surprise."

"Dad, you know one thing?" Francesca scoffed, flicking a strand of hair behind with her eyes narrowed at Justin. "I heard that India women are scams and they obviously doesn't last in marriages."

Justin stood up pointing a finger at her, "Say anything bad about her ethnicity again and I'll break you in front of mom and dad."

Fear made Francesca climb the top of the couch, using her parents' back as shield. "You see what am saying? They obviously have voodoo charms in getting innocent guys like my brother and now, one has succeeded."

Clifford called his phone, making him swallow whatever he was gonna say to his sister. "Boss, the meeting has started and your office is locked."

"Carry on, I'll be late." He hung up and turned back to his family's discussion. "Look Dad, Priyanka is different from all the other dubious girls you used to know."

"How am I supposed to know?" Ben shrugged. "You've never brought home a girl and this is the first time you're being serious in your life." Justin rolled his eyes. "I saw her on TV with you today, she was on a pajama and she attends Los Angeles university of California. What else do they not talk about her, Adela?" He turn his head to his wife.

Okay, his Dad is a little bit curious and same time mad and same time liking the sound of his son getting married. Which side is he?

"She is foreign?" Ben pointed out, clarifying that the girl is not a citizen of this country. "What happened to all our American women? Oh, wait, I almost forgot you've used them all for nightstands."

"Dad," Justin sighed, getting really freaked out. "What Priyanka and I had is a very long story. It didn't just start yesterday."

"Yeah." Adela agreed.

Ben looked at her, his brow upwards. "Have you been keeping daily dairy of their relationship too?" He shook his head helplessly and murmured. "Even you can't be ridiculous." Then he turns his head to his son. "I'm happy for you. At least, I should be proud of my son ready to settle down in his thirties." He grinned. "When can we officially meet her and her family?"

Oh shit. He hasn't fixed a date yet and he hasn't come up with any suggestions with Priyanka about their parents meeting.

"Um….." He scratched his head. Thinking of a brilliant idea. "I'll be inviting her for dinner tomorrow night and um…her parents…. I'll set a lunch date for you guys."

Adela thumbs up her son codedly with a bright smile. Ben let out a satisfactory sigh. "Okay. Just let me know when the lunch date's gonna be so I can reschedule my appointments."

After his parents and his sister left, he crashed on his seat, swirling himself sideways with his head facing the ceiling. He hopes this doesn't gets too hard for him to handle. First, his sister came up with an idea of not regarding his fiancée and then his Dad busted at first for keeping such a big happiness from the family. Since his Dad and mom has no issue with the girl he's going to marry, then he doesn't have to worry about his little sister's decision. Let her think whatever she likes, it won't change his love for Priyanka.

He was scrolling over his phone for a perfect place of setting up a wedding, then Max walked in buckling his belt. "Have you been fucking Claudia nonstop even till the end of the meeting?" He asked before looking at him.

"Ah, somebody's getting married." Max settled on the chair across the desk and showed him a video on his phone. "You really did a great job there, cousin. Can't wait to be called an uncle."

An uncle, huh? Okay, how about we start from you Maxwell? Justin tossed his phone on the desk, his eyes not leaving Max. "Did you even use protection on her? Oh wait, then I should be waiting to be called an uncle soon if NO."

"Dude, are you really being serious now? Did you saw us?" He almost asked in a whisper like the walls could hear him.

"See you?" Justin scoffed, leaning his arms on the desk. "It was only an eyewitness thing and secondly, it was office hours, Maxwell. Your door was free to air, anyone could have walked in there and see the both of you having a joyride on the couch. Come on, couldn't it have waited for later?"

"Just like saying you should have introduced I and the guys to Priyanka first before breaking the veil." He leaned his back on his seat, crossing his legs.

Understanding what he meant by that, Justin's brows adjusted in a 'Wow' gesture. "I haven't touched Priyanka yet, stupid. I read it online that it's very absurd to touch an India woman you're not married to. And secondly, she's still a student. She barely have time to hangout."

Fixing his collar and tie, Max remarked, "Ah, they gat rules there. More like a lot of tradition, should I say?"

The door opens without a knock and Tristan and Harry plugged in with bottle of champagne and boxes of dessert. Justin threw his head back in frustration. Oh law'd ha mercy, who called these guys?

As if Max could read his brain, he quickly defended himself, "I didn't phone anyone." His hands in the air briefly.

Harry popped the cork and Tristan whooped. "Bachelors night's coming. 98% loading."
