SEASON 5 CHAPTER TWO
The entire forest is engulfed in flames; we need to move quickly. Jennifer, focus on healing Cristabel so she can contribute, or we risk being consumed by the fire.
Cristabel attempts to pick up her pace after receiving some light healing despite her injuries.
In the background, the sounds of clashing swords persist.
Do you really want to die for those so-called heroes?
That's not something you should concern yourself with.
Then I must finish this quickly.
Don't think I'll allow that.
Before he could finish his sentence, the commander's hands were severed, causing him to scream in agony.
Aaaaaaa!
What was that sound? It seems the commander is in trouble.
We need to hurry before Max reaches us!
The commander, now bleeding profusely from his severed hands, is in dire straits.
This will be the least mercy I show you, as I have no personal grudge against you.
I'm not finished with you!
Oh, but you are. Given how much you're bleeding, it's safe to say you won't last much longer.
Max sheathed his sword and approached his classmates.
Khan, is Max trailing behind us?
I can't see anyone!
It seems the commander struck a solid deal on Max.
We might actually escape from here.
Who says you're getting out of here?
How did that scoundrel manage to overpower the commander?
The heroes of Junaid noticed Max approaching them from behind.
Khan, Dennis, Dominic, let's secure Max for Jennifer and Sandra so they can proceed with Cristabel to the entrance and make their escape.
Berry! Open fire!
A sniper rifle shot rang out, striking Max in the head and sending him crashing to the ground.
Great shot, Berry!
Is he dead?!
Let me check to ensure he's finished.
Heavy slash!
Max staggered back five steps, landing on the ground and rendering Jeff's attack ineffective as it struck the earth.
Damn! He's still alive!
This is not good! Zen.
I let my defenses down this time; it seems you all have some real talent.
Max removes the bullet from his forehead, holding it in his left hand and examining it closely.
Dennis, restrain him immediately!
Paralyze him!
Not this time! You worthless trash!
Flame Fist!
With that, Max delivers a powerful punch to Dennis, slamming him against a tree behind.
Dennis!
This is bad! Very bad!
You'll pay for this, you scoundrel!
Khan, wait! Don't rush in recklessly!
Mid-air kick!
Max evades Khan's attack and retaliates with a lethal strike.
Tempest cleric punch!
The force of the blow reverberates through Khan's body, propelling him into Zen and sending both crashing to the ground far away.
Khan begins to cough up blood.
Let's finish this!
No, you won't!
Aha!
Suddenly, from Max's rear, the wounded commander, engulfed in flames, established contact with Max, using his powers to immobilize him.
What the! How are you still alive?
I warned you that I wouldn't allow you to have your way.
Ground death gravity grave!
With that, the commander plunged both himself and Max deep into the earth. The onlookers were left in disbelief at the scene unfolding before them.
We need to move! The fire is still spreading!
The others rushed to assist Dennis and Khan, helping them escape the forest and reunite with the group at the entrance.
They placed Khan and Dennis in front of their horses while the rest mounted theirs, swiftly making their way back to Junaid.
The entire forest had transformed into a charred graveyard, with most of the trees lying fallen after a prolonged and fierce battle. In the heart of the woods, a small fissure began to split the earth.
Suddenly, an explosion erupted from the ground, and a figure emerged, clad in tattered, bloodstained clothing.
He stood there, gripping the neck of a lifeless body, and cracked his neck as he stretched, revealing it was Max who had just surfaced from the depths of the earth.
"Damn! They escaped!
. "If it weren't for this fool,
I would have dealt with those worthless scum. I suppose we'll cross paths again soon."
Max then opened a portal and stepped through, returning to his room at the academy.
