At this point, Ryu decided to come clean with his mother about his situation with the girls.
He knew with his incoming harem members, he'd have to reveal everything eventually.
"So you have a bunch of new girlfriends and wives and you're planning to create a harem, Ryu?? " Momako asked, her eyes wide with shock.
She didn't expect this plot twist, and it was written all over her face.
Her gaze flickered between the women standing next to Ryu, their regal appearances making the situation feel surreal.
"Yes," Ryu said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Sorry for lying, Mom. I just... didn't know how to bring it up." His heart raced as he faced his mother.
Momako stared at him for a moment longer, her expression unreadable, before a warm smile broke across her face.
"That's totally fine!" she said, her voice full of excitement. "I'm happy you've got more loved ones in your life! I never imagined this, but if they make you happy, then I'm all for it."
Ryu blinked in surprise. He had braced himself for a barrage of questions or, at the very least, some skepticism. But his mother was taking it better than he expected.
"Really?" Ryu asked, his tone a mix of disbelief and relief. "You're okay with all this?"
Momako chuckled, waving a hand dismissively. "Of course! Why wouldn't I be? You've always been a good judge of character, Ryu.
If these women are part of your life now, I trust your decision. Besides, it's not every day a mother gets to say her son has multiple princesses as wives!" She glanced at the group.
Mosquito Girl, Miu, and Rias gave a polite bow and introduced themselves. Mosquito Girl, the more outspoken of the group, added with a playful smirk, "We promise to take good care of Ryu."
"That's totally fine! I'm happy you got more loved ones! But, if they're living here, we don't have that much room…"
"That's fine, Mom. I know a way. But for today, I bought a bigger bed that all of us can sleep in. I also have plans to get some money to buy a bigger house."
Mamokao nodded her head. Her son was truly growing up.
Momako turned to the wives with a soft, motherly smile.
"Now, I hope you'll all join me for dinner. I'll make something special! I want to get to know each of you, hear about how you met my Ryu, and how he won your hearts."
She beamed at them, the excitement in her voice making it clear that her only wish was for her son to be happy.
"By the way, do you have any more girlfriends or wives?" Momako asked curiously.
Ryu suddenly felt eyes behind his back sending shivers down his spine.
"...Yes," Ryu sighed. He truly wished his mother didn't ask a question.
"How many more?" Miu asked him.
Ryu could feel her tension in the air, and he quickly added,
"Let's just say there are a few more on the list, but you're the one I care about the most."
He gave her a reassuring smile, hoping to ease her worries.
Miu wanted to cough up blood, but she managed not to.
Aside from everyone here and awake, there was also Murayama, Katase, Sarah, Raynare.
But he may get more in the future, so he simply said he lost count
Tonight everyone partied tonight. Everyone from the attack on the church was here.
Momako clapped her hands together, her eyes shining with joy. "Alright, let's get dinner started! I have some special recipes I've been waiting to share. I hope you all like a little spice in your food!"
Sooner or later, everyone started to leave. Mosquito Girl and Rias exchanged goodbyes with his mother, each promising to visit again soon. Miu, however, hesitated at the door, her gaze lingering on Ryu.
"I want to stay over tonight," Miu declared, a determined look in her eyes.
Ryu felt a rush of relief mixed with excitement at her words.
He nodded enthusiastically, hoping to ease any lingering doubts she had.
"Of course! The more, the merrier," Momako chimed in, wiping her hands on a towel.
"We have plenty of space, and it'll be fun to have you here!"
With everyone else gone, the house felt quieter, but the warmth of the evening lingered.
The night finally set in as everyone went to bed.
Ryu made sure Miu was comfortable in the larger bed he had prepared.
As he settled down beside her, he felt a wave of contentment wash over him.
Raynare was sleeping on the Guest Bed, while Visor and Mosquito Girl were now sleeping on the guest bed, while he was sleeping with Miu.
As Ryu settled and went into bed, Miu climbed on top of Ryu, her warm breath on his chest.
Ryu's eyes locked onto her blue eyes, his dragon stirring beneath the sheets.
"You're so beautiful, Miu," Ryu said, his voice low and husky.
"I've been thinking about you all day." Miu smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"I know I'm not the only one you're thinking about," she said, her voice playful.
"I've seen the way you look at Visor and Mosquito Girl. You can't help but be attracted to them, can you?"
Ryu's face fell, but Miu's expression was teasing.
"I'm not saying I don't find them attractive," Ryu said, his voice sheepish.
"But I do find you incredibly attractive, Miu. I love you." Miu's face softened, her eyes locking onto Ryu's.
"I want to be with you too, Ryu," she said.
"But I have to admit, it's slightly jealous, especially since you're not completely immune to other women's charms. Even then, I love you Ryu, and I'll do my best to make you completely mine"
"I love you too, Miu," he said.
Miu's face softened, her eyes locking onto Ryu's. "I love you too, Ryu," she said, her voice soft.
