Narrator POV
a short recap of what happened last time : Cassie, Mirabel and Marco went into the forest and found the witch and supposed hero with dark magic, then they fought a monster. and found out that it was easier to fight alongside each other.
RECAP OVER
"What does melt mean?" asked Marco with a confused face. "how do you not-" "he's a merman" interrupted Mirabel. "wait, really?" "yes" "Liam I thought you were smart enough to notice the scales on his face." said Lee starting to smirk "EH! LEE SHUSH!!!" shouted Liam "pfft" cassie started laughing at the bickering, in her head it reminded her of her old friends back from high school. or well at least before they moved schools because of- "you guys are funny" cassie said still giggling "so uhm... how about we form an adventure team?" said Mirabel, everyone then looked at Mirabel. "That is.... A GREAT IDEA!!!" shouted Marco with a beaming smile on his face and almost jumping with excitement, everyone started to agree and they decided to travel together until they needed to part ways (whenever that is)
"so where are we going first?" asked lee. "Uhhhhmm... how about we head to Myrid?" said Mirabel "sounds good to me" said everyone except Mirabel and cassie "so uhh can anyone tell me where Myrid or what Myrid is?" "WAIT YOU DON"T KNOW?!" shouted most of the group, they still haven't told them about cassia's situation "oh, yeah right we should probably tell them" said Mirabel, cassie nodded "ok, so to put a long story short. cassie is not from this world." said Mirabel bluntly "WAIT WHAT!?!" practically screamed Lee, Liam and Marco " most of the group was shocked, they didn't even know that different worlds existed until just now. "It seems Cassie is now stuck in this world so there is no need to get so worked up about it." Said Mirabel ever so bluntly "Mira, could you at least show some emotion when saying something so out of the ordinary?" Asked Cassie "ehhmm..... no?" Answered Mirabel with more emotion than the last few sentences she's said. "how do you say something out of the ordinary with no emotion, and something that can be said without emotion, with so much emotion?!" Liam almost shouted "I don't know." answered Mirabel.
they decided to travel to Myrid the capital of the moon empire. to put it simply they went from the far lands, where barely anything but forest can be found to the most inhabited empire in the world at the time.
after about an hour of walking and Marco and cassie saying they can't walk any further they decided to take a break, weirdly enough in another forest. only this time instead of trees it's mushrooms.
"mushrooms... huh" said cassie, as I mentioned before she doesn't really like the outdoors since she was born and raised in the city of new York, her mum was loaded (but really chill) "yeah, after this break we should only have to walk a bit longer until we reach a yunika station." said Lee "what's a-" "it's a sort of vehicle that transports you" said Lee "so a train/bus?" asked cassie "uhm, I guess?" said lee with a confused voice, again different dimensions. "I'm going to go look around a bit further up I'll be right back" said Mirabel.
Mirabel POV
as I was walking down the path I found a crossroad, I chose to go with the one on the left. while I was walking I heard a voice that sounded too familiar to not be- "Hello, dear sister" said an all too familiar voice "hello, seline" I could practically hear her grin. "so what are you doing in MY empire, sister?" my sister is the goddess of the moon, as I am of the sun. "that is none of your concern, I will be out of your hair soon enough" "that's what you said the last time you were traveling with a certain person named, Quinlynn-" "THAT'S NONE OF YOU'RE BUSINESS SELINE!" I started to glow like the sun, this seemed to amuse my sister. "it seems you still have power, even after all this time" she said as she started to fly away, as she was I was starting to black out.
cassie POV
a bit after Mirabel left. me, Liam, lee and Marco were starting to talk about the difference of their world and mine, but as we were talking we saw a really bright light in the distance. and decided to go check it out. just in case Mirabel was in trouble. but when we started to walk towards the light, we came to a crossroad. me and Liam decided we would go left and lee and Marco decided to go right. "I have a bad feeling..." said Liam "how come?" I asked him "well.. I just, I don't trust this." said Liam with a worried face. as we were talking we heard a voice that we didn't recognize. " you hear that too right?" I asked "yeah"
narrator POV
cassie and Liam started to walk faster towards the voice, when they got there. they saw Mirabel glowing as bright as the sun, especially her wings and horns, wait horns? when did she get those? "Mirabel!" shouted cassie, while Liam looked up to see Seline flying away. he wanted to go after her by teleporting and air walk, but decided Mirabel was more important. meanwhile lee and Marco encountered some pompons (mushrooms that attack people) "boo! what are these, are they friendly?" asked Marco with a smile (still smiling) "no" lee said as she casted an ice spell to freeze and then shatter them quickly "aww...." "sorry Marco, but those pompons aren't friendly" then lee heard- 'LEE, WE NEED SOME HELP MIRABEL IS PASSED OUT AND WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO' 'alright calm down, we are headed you're way and we will be there soon.'
Lee and Marco started to run over to where the rest of the group was but, Marco.... Well he is still incredibly short. "Lee can you please carry me? I'm too slow!" Lee then casted a spell that practically threw Marco on her back, and then she started to run faster.
"Hah! We're here! What happened?!" Lee said, out of breath from running. "I'll tell ya later, can you heal her? Or at least do something?!" Said Liam with visible panic in his voice. "Calm down, it doesn't look like anything bad, it might just be that she fainted from over use of one's power." Lee said trying to sound as calm as possible, considering the situation they are in.
Mirabel POV
"Sister!...why?!" I shouted 'my own sister betrayed me! And killed |her|-' "why? That's what you ask? But that's so simple to answer!" Said my sister with a grin on her face. "It's because..... it's FUNNY." She said as she started to laugh. As she was laughing I looked down on the realm beneath us, or more specifically MY empire. That was now being destroyed, by the people I cared about. I was starting to cry, but it wasn't lava like before no, it was water.... And it hurt.
Narrator POV
A while later Mirabel woke up. "What happened....? Where are we....?" She asked weakly "we are at a yunika station, are you alright Mira?" Asked Lee. "I-I'm f-fine...." "Try to get some more sleep, you seem to need it." Lee said with a warm smile. "A-alright t-t-thank you L-Lee" "it's no problem, rest up."
