Chapter 1 - Short Story 1.1

There once was a man who was hailed as the Hero of

Quintessential Business Group. He alone was enough to

conquer the 7 seas and 10 land to make them the greatest of

all time. But, there also existed and existence very similar but

very different from the Hero, known by the name Noir of

Board. He was like the Bane of Heroes, always on edge,

always brooding over things that might not occur, suspecting

anything and everything, and questioning any and all

decisions made. Everyone thought he is doing these for his

company, yes, His! Company. A business he built from up

ground with his judgmental eyes, scanning for all the talents

and roping them to further increase its worth. But not

everyone knows is, he started doing it out of jealousy of his

old front.... The Hero himself.

One night, as ominous clods gathered, Samuel the bane took

his phone and made a call. Looking inside the shelf where

his gold-plated Desert Eagle was kept, he took it with him

and started his car and drove off to somewhere. As the

wind was howling outside his cozy little house, our hero

Jackson appeared somewhat disturbed and looked through

the picture walls in his study. Relishing in his memory of

family and the friends he made through his journey he

became emotional and then he made a determined face

stood up and went somewhere.

In a run-down abandoned mill, we saw a man standing

waiting for someone to appear. He seemed troubled by the

situation but still stood without any sound. Suddenly, he

heard a noice and looked to the entrance to see a man

wearing black tuxedo entering through the

dilapidated entrance of the mill.

The man said, "Glad that you have come my friend, or else

your dog at home might have lost its family by tomorrow."
