Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

***

The big three weren't able to find Y/n until it hit the 12-hour mark. By then, it was mandatory for every student to go to sleep. Till then, the trio hasn't seen the man the next morning. Once the trio and their classmates trudged down the stairs, it was already hard to ignore a huge man leaning on the counter of their kitchen, taking a sip from a cup of coffee. He was in his boxers and wore a black undershirt. Nejire immediately speed up to him and gave him a firm hug on his back.

"Where did you go huh?!" she yelled directly at his ear, her hug getting a bit tighter.

"You didn't come back that night...what did you do?" Tamaki asked as well, obviously concerned about this kind of behavior from their friend.

Then Mirio leaned over the counter as well. "I get you're frustrated too. But, why did you have to leave so late? Good thing you weren't caught!"

"I was. I got a sanction." the huge man replied bluntly upon taking a bite from a glazed donut.

"SEEEEE!" Nejire cried out a bit too loud in Y/n's ear, making him stumble for a bit, still hanging on his back. "YOU EVEN GOT CAUUGHTTT!"

Y/n blinked. "I hear ringing..."

"Hehe...at least it wasn't a severe sanction. Anyway, what did you do?" Mirio continued.

"..." The latter in question took the last bite of his donut. "Nothing. Just...needed to cool myself a bit, I guess."

Then in the end there was this uncomfortable silence that filled the kitchen for a moment until the one who started it, broke it.

"So, fill me in from last time."

Mirio was the one who decided to reply. "Well...we got the police to help us with the search, they'll also help us arrest the bad guys! So uhm...all we have to do now is to wait for them to contact us since they'll figure out the whereabouts of the Shie Hassaikai...then we'll be able to bring back Eri!"

"The police..." Y/n mumbled rather quietly.

Nejire heard him. "Hm? Is there something wrong with the police?"

"N-No. None at all. Let's...Let's just wait for them to contact us. And then, we'll save Eri."

The big three were never sure if Y/n genuinely meant what he said or not. His way of speaking was always monotone and gloomy. But they've gotten used to the way he spoke at some point. It's just that, they were never exactly certain if everything he said was truly genuine. He was still a big question mark for the trio, even after all they'd been through. Either way, they decided to trust in his words.

---

Two days passed, and the big three, Y/n included, received the notification late at night, much to the joy of Mirio and Izuku who were both fired up.

Later that morning, all of them had to stroll back to the building where they and the heroes had their first meeting. Izuku was with Mirio, Ochaco, Tsyu, and Kirishima in the left-most part of the room, while Nejire and Tamaki were in the middle of the crowd of heroes. As for Y/n, he stood at the corner of the room and listened to those that had a say in the matter.

After the said meeting, the broccoli boy had the courage to converse with Y/n once more.

"Hi, Y/n! Uhm..." Then the greenhead suddenly bowed. "It'll be a pleasure seeing you in action! I'll be glad working with you!" he uttered energetically, and quite a bit loud to the point even his friends heard his bubbly voice. "E-Especially your quirk!"

The latter rubbed his neck. "You didn't really need to say that."

"I apologize!"

"...You don't have to apologize either."

Then Izuku raised his head with his eyes beaming with determination. "Let's do our best!"

---

Once the students specifically changed into their hero costumes, all the heroes and the police as well gathered outside the building and discussed the game plan.

Y/n was nowhere to be seen at the moment, to Izuku's displeasure.

"Say, Kirishima, have you seen Y/n?" the greenhead asked his fellow classmate. "I hadn't seen him after the meeting."

"Hm? Nope! Wait--he's here?" the redhead responded.

"Yeah, he was just in the room a while ago."

"Oh! Really? I didn't see him!"

Izuku was about to respond until Mirio intervened, strolling over to them with a fixed smile. "He said he had to do something."

"Ah...! He will be back right?" the young hero asked.

"Of course he does. He always does."

---

Holding a warrant of arrest in his hand, the chief police knocked at the front door of the Shie Hassaikai's main stronghold as the sunlight basked their skin. The wind howled that day as they waited.

And waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Until a huge fist, the size of 2 grown men punched out the door from within, later unveiling a giant man the size of two trucks to punch his way out from within the Shie Hassaikai stronghold, one of the first obstacles the heroes and police have to face. The said giant had bulging biceps and wore a black bird mask and a black undershirt that was stretched. He then slowly stood to his full height, looming over the heroes and police.

"What do youuu want...?" he said groggily as if he's just woken up. "Bringing all these people so early in the morning..." Then he stretched a bit. "I feel...a little more awake now. Jeez," he uttered as he lifted his right fist, the biceps on his right arm expanding in size as he threw a right jab. "What do you people wannntttt?!"

Then just as the fist was thrown, Ryukyu, morphed into a towering dragon, blocking the giant man's fist with just a hand. Right after, she grabbed the giant man by the nape and slammed him down on the asphalt.

"Anyway," she started calmly. "...we shouldn't split our forces here. Ryuukyu Agency will take care of him! The rest of you of now, while you have the chance!"

This allowed the rest of the heroes to barge into the stronghold, Mirio, and Izuku bolting in immediately after.

---

There was groaning and moaning. The sound of struggle echoed down a dark hallway as the sound of flesh collided with metal. Squish and crunch, squish and crunch resounded on the walls, the said sound getting progressively audible each time. The scene pans to the old walls, showing off fresh dabs of blood that stained the said walls.

Suddenly an armored black hand pierces through the other side old wall, painted with blood. Gradually retreating his hand from the old wall, blood starts to gush out from the hole the armored hand devised, a moan of pain, echoing later on.

---

"He's supposedly going to be there during the raid...but he's not here."

"No...I heard from the blonde kid, Lemillion, he said he's gonna be here. We just have to wait."

"..."

"His murders...they're rising at an exponential rate. We can't keep on leaving it like this. He's out of control."

Little did the heroes know that in between they're meeting not so long ago before the raid, the police themselves had fabricated a short meeting. They were given a blurred image of a man enveloped in dark armor, spikes curved outward from the said black armor's shoulders, and a smooth black helmet with a white set of teeth unveiling itself. They could hardly imagine what the figure in the image given to them actually looked like, since that blurred image, was the best shot they'd got.

...

They were given the right to arrest Y/n on sight for an interrogation. Nothing severe yet, they just needed some questions answered.

They were given the latter's name, but have never actually seen his face. They know his hero name "Y/n" is connected to his real name, which is, but never once had they seen a glimpse of his actual features. He was still a mystery to the police.

...

And Y/n intends to keep it that way.

--Now back to the present--

Time passed, and it seemed that Nejire, Ochaco, and Tsyu were having difficulty bringing down the giant man. The said giant man's boost quirk drug, finally kicking in after being restrained by the police, allowed him to increase in size and overpower the dragon hero. He struck his fist at her rib, causing her to stagger albeit was able to hold her ground. Then at the same time, a surge of energy spiraled toward him, though it seemed like it did little to no damage to the latter.

The giant man chuckled in glee. He thought to himself that the drug wore off uttering right after. "Let me feel you up, cutie pie."

In retort, Nejire let out another spiral surge of energy toward the giant man, "Ew!" Then she blasted another one at him. "No!"

Disliking her immediate retort, he raised his fist and his voice. "Then I'm gonna rail you hard."

Faster than she could perceive, the huge fist was thrown at her.

Until a loud and audible crack resounded throughout the street.

"Nejire-san...!" Ochaco called out, hoping that her senpai wasn't the source of that loud and ominous crack.

Then suddenly, the giant man darted toward Tsyu and Ochaco's direction, making both heroines bolt out of the way with their remaining energy, while the giant man was tossed like a ragdoll in play onto the asphalt. His head was buried deep into the pavement.

"Awww...what the hell...?" then as the giant man tried to stand up, he took note of his right hand; numb, and cold. He gazed at his hand only to unveil that the said right forearm of his was contorted in directions it wasn't supposed to. A major bone protruded from the man's wrist as strands of blood oozed out of his palm. Finally, the pain kicked in. He bellowed in utter anguish as he attempted to massage out the pain in his right forearm.

The Ryuukyu agency was stunned by the sudden fatal wound--injury, actually. Tsyu and Ochaco were specifically horrified by such a gory scene.

The giant man continued to grasp his injured forearm while screaming obscenities at the top of his lungs. "WHO THE FUCK DID THIS?! WHO THE FUCK DID THIS TO ME?! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU...!! RRGGGHHHH...!!"

Suddenly once more, the giant man has been attacked again, however this time, a black armored figure was spotted above the giant man, the black figure's right foot raised up high, ready for a point-blank strike to the occipital bone, the result led the giant man, slamming his head back onto the ground with a loud explosion. A cloud of dust and debris enveloped the scene for a moment.

his back was against the Ryuukyu Agency. Ochaco and Tsyu were the ones specifically stunned by the newcomer's sudden appearance.

As the dust settled, a rather morbid armored figure was left within the dissipated dust cloud his back was against the Ryuukyu Agency. Ochaco and Tsyu were the ones specifically stunned by the newcomer's sudden appearance. Knelt on one knee as it held the figure wore a black armor that seemed unnatural, rather than leaving an aura of comfort or relief, the figure brought intimidation and reprehensible intentions. In short, Ochaco and Tsyu were not at ease when they laid eyes on the figure. Their instincts screamed to run.

The fear only added up when the armored figure's helmet suddenly turned in their direction, slowly, showing off its smooth helmet and pearly whites seemingly fixed grin.

Suddenly gasping out loud, Nejire exclaimed. "Y/n! You're finally here! Took you long enough!"

The announcement of the black figure actually being Y/n further shocked both the young heroines.

"That's Y/n?!" Ochaco uttered in both admiration that she finally got to see him work, while a bit horrified by the brutality of his strikes. "H-He's so cool!"

"Thank goodness..." Tsyu said in relief. "But still...that guy's not moving..." she pointed out, referring to the giant man whose head was buried several feet below the asphalt.

"Uraraka!" a familiar high-pitched voice called out to the bob-cut girl, immediately catching her attention. So once she did turn her attention to him, she instantly recognized Izuku standing on the road before them. "I came to call for backup! Our objective is directly beneath that intersection. The pro heroes are pinned and need reinforcements!"

The Ryuukyu Agency was about to take action, but before they could even move an inch, the black figure that was assumed to be Y/n, lifted up the giant from the pavement with ease, later unveiling the enormous pool of blood oozing from the giant man's bird mask. Right after, Ochaco immediately bolted toward the unconscious giant man and touched his arm, activating her quirk at the same time, allowing the said giant to lessen the weight on the black figure's shoulders to the point it was as light as a feather.

"You can do it Y/n!" Ochaco encouraged the latter. "All we have to do is to throw this guy at the intersection over there!" she added, pointing in her stated direction.

The latter didn't even utter a word as he suddenly threw the giant up into the air. The dragon hero Ryuuku, understanding the assignment, immediately rammed herself directly toward the giant man in her dragon form. Right after, Tsyu used her frog tongue to wrap around the giant's neck and drag the flying massive man toward the intersection.

"Nejire hit us with everything you've got!" Ryuuku, the dragon hero yelled to her sidekick.

The blue-haired girl replied with a powerful blast at them, making Ryuuku, Ochaco, and Tsyu, as well as the unconscious giant man, slam onto the asphalt, creating a massive hole revealing the underground facility of the Shie Hassaikai. They all fell into the massive hole as well.

As the armored figure trudged toward the massive hole in the intersection, he instantly noticed three individuals he did not recognize looking down at the said hole. One was a woman bare naked with a slimy gray substance riddling down her skin, the other was a man covered in a half-gray and black suit, while another had a white mask with markings on the said mask as well as a suit on with a necktie and lacking a left arm.

It was the League of Villains. They were 19 meters away from him

The gray suit man noticed him.

"Hey, copy! Go attack thing guy instead! He's a small fry you can handle!" he uttered, slamming the back of the man with just one arm.

"Your kidding right?!" the latter, or the copy, retorted. "Look at that thing! You think that's a human?!"

"Your opinion doesn't matter at this point cuz you're a copy!" the naked blonde girl with slit yellow pupils responded. "Now go fight! We'll just use another copy of you to get the crux."

"Oh you bastar--"

The said copy instantly melted into a puddle of mud when Y/n let a solid kick in the face, baffling the blonde and the gray-suited man.

"W-W-W-What the hell?! How did you--When did you--Y-You were j-j-just t-t-there...n-now y-y-your--" he was silenced when the armored figure stared at him. The smooth black helmet of the said armored figure looked down at him, studied him, and pondered. "H-Hi there!"

Then he looked to his right, later revealing a shocked naked blonde girl having to look high up at the man that easily destroyed the copy. "Y-Your...so fast...and..tall."

He was about to end it all with one fell swoop until a huge rumble made the armored figure stagger, as well as a cloud of dust and smoke, blind him momentarily, giving both the blonde and the gray-suited man the chance to flee. By the time everything was settled, he lost them.

Immediately after, the armored figure gazed up at the blue sky and noticed a green and yellow hue up above. Focusing his attention on the glowing lights...he discerned this as Izuku...and a little girl that...

that...

Why does she look like her?

The black armored figure watched as Izuku and the little girl in his arms landed on the ground about 30 meters apart from him. He stretched his neck and recalled that this little girl's name was Eri. Then once again, a huge rumbling shook the ground as a huge and distorted red hand emerged from the asphalt, from where the massive hole was created thanks to the Ryuuku Agency, then another clasped on a nearby building, then another clenched on the sidewalk, and then a final one grabbed onto the asphalt as it fully revealed itself from below.

A huge contorted and red being with at least 8 arms for legs, clawed its way up to the surface, chasing Izuku and Eri. The armored figure took note of Chisaki in the center of the huge mass of flesh, letting out his own monologue to Izuku as he fully revealed himself. The black figure didn't even lend an ear to whatever the villain was saying, so in the blink of an eye, the armored figure disappeared from his initial position, leaving small pieces of debris from the armored figure's prior spot then, soon after, materialized right above the red mass of flesh and gave it a solid strike at the cervical vertebrae leaving a huge shockwave that shattered the asphalt below, stunning Chisaki by the sudden assault, leaving the mass of flesh paralyzed momentarily as Izuku was left dumbfounded.

Then as the armored figure landed on the rooftop of a building, he made a gesture toward the greenhead who was floating around the air, jumping from each and every mound of flesh being thrown. Pointing his finger to the sky.

Izuku's mouth lay gape...until he got the message, nodding.

---

The broccoli boy did it, he defeated Chisaki. With the help of Eri's quirk, he did it. He finally beat him.

Izuku stood there, gasping for air as Eri was strapped on his back. His whole body was burning after using 100% of One for All. He winced a bit as he turned his attention to the girl on his back.

"Eri, are you hurt--"

Suddenly, he was enveloped by a bright yellow light from Eri, he gritted his teeth as he tried to bear the pain. He fell on his knees as he took note of the little girl's increase in power. The armored figure, on the other hand, nonchalantly stared at the situation before him. Doing, nothing. Just, standing beside him as the predicament arose.

Then he heard the final groan of Chisaki as he raised the red fleshy mass for a hand onto them. The black armored figure was about to retaliate until the yellow hue enveloping Izuku and Eri instantly directed itself toward the fleshy hand, rewinding the fusion of Chisaki and the giant man. Meanwhile, the rest of the heroes found their way to the surface and regrouped with the police. Luckily, Aizawa was able to deactivate Eri's quirk in time before anything else major could've occurred.

Right after, the storm finally calmed down.

Izuku carried Eri in his arms as the medics, police, and heroes worked together to arrest and recover the injured. The greenhead, of course, didn't forget to thank the armored figure.

"U-Uhm...thank you...sir for uh...helping me defeat Chisaki!" the greenhead said with enthusiasm. "Y-You should come with us! Become a hero like us and save people! I'm sure you'll do a lot of good for the public!"

The armored figure just mindlessly gazed at the greenhead, not responding, giving an awkward atmosphere.

"Y-Your a hero, sir! Don't forge--"

"HALT!"

Izuku was shaken by the sudden boom of a voice. He immediately turned his attention to the source, to view that the police stopped whatever they were doing and pointed their weapons at them.

The greenhead was stunned. What were they doing? Did something happen? Is this another trick up Chisaki's sleeve? How could this happen?

He gripped the unconscious Eri in his arms as he thought of multiple ways and theories as to the cause of his current predicament.

Then a thought struck him. Was the League of Villains a part of this..?

However, his train of thought was shattered when the chief of police yelled out loud to him.

"Midoriya Izuku...I need you to slowly get over here with Eri!" the chief uttered. "It is not safe where you are right now!"

The greenhead sighed in relief but didn't know why they--

"Your standing next to a murderer, son... A villain," the chief added in a darker tone. "Get...over here...before things get dirty..."

"D-Deku!" Ochaco yelled, fearing for the safety of her friend.

"Izuku...!" Tsyu did the same.

The greenhead tensed. An excruciating amount of pressure loomed over him. Thoughts swirled in his mind as he started sweating profusely.

There were only two people right now, in his position...he thought. Me..and...him.

B-But that couldn't be...he thought to himself once more. I-I saw him fight with me...surely he's not...surely he's not what they say...

"H-He fought with me against Chisaki!" Izuku defended. "H-He saved me so many times!"

"He's a killer, Midoriya," the chief retorted darkly, his glare hardening. "The amount of lives he's taken at this point is erratic. So, please. Cooperate and stay back," then he turned his attention to Eraser. "Aizawa, your quirk, please."

The man was reluctant, knowing who exactly that was.

Tsyu gulped. "Isn't that..."

"Eraserhead, please activate your quirk immediately! This man is more dangerous than we could possibly think of!"

Meanwhile, Izuku slowly turned his head to the armored figure. Its pearly white teeth seemingly twitched into a smile as it gazed over in his direction.

A twisted, and cruel smile.

Though...that could've been just his imagination.

It could've also been his imagination...when in the corner of his eye, a black blur hurling toward him at a speed he cannot react at his current state.

Izuku tensed once more, and closed his eyes, ready for an impact that never came to be.

He slowly opened his eyes and then later unveiled that the tip of a black spear was mere inches before it could've pierced his face. The armored figure caught it and then later broke it. He just saved the greenhead's life. But from afar...he saw something...at an alleyway just adjacent to them...

There were three other black armored figures, however, they were concealed in an alleyway far enough that the human eye could make off. Izuku could only make them out of three black blurs wielding massive swords far too large than their own body. He then noticed that the other two disappeared into the dark, leaving only one to do the dirty work.

Before Izuku could study his surroundings and try to grasp the situation, right then and there, a black armored figure, its armor wider and seemingly denser with a black skull for a helmet, materialized behind the latter that just broke its spear with ease and lifted his massive black sword with one hand, placing the hilt of its blade on his back before swinging at full force.

Instantly, Izuku has been pushed away, with Eri still in his arms before the figure with a massive sword swung at its intended target, creating a shockwave that impels everyone away, as well as fabricating a cloud of smoke.

"What is this?! Another villain attack?!" Fat Gum yelled out loud, frustrated that another so-called villain came to be.

"Not at this time...we're way too exhausted to fight back...our forces have been weakened and yet another one shows up..." Ryuuku, the dragon hero added.

"I-Is Deku alright?! I couldn't see him with all this smoke...!" Ochaco added, worried.

But once the smoke cleared, the scene reveals that the one who wielded the massive black sword was impaled by the latter in the chest using his left arm. The sword was frozen mid-swing since the other armored figure attacked way too fast for its liking. Then it gripped the hilt of its weapon and using only one arm, swung its massive sword at the latter, creating another cloud of smoke and another shockwave that made everyone stagger.

"Engage! Bring them down! Both of them!" the chief uttered, letting out the signal.

The cue was announced, making all the police in the vicinity shower the cloud of smoke with lead, shooting at the cloud of dust blindly with no apparent target.

So once the smoke cleared, no one else was there except a torn-off arm and an even bigger hole in the intersection. No one knows who that arm belonged to, but it was bleeding profusely.

Ryuuku's nose wrinkled. "It reeks of oil and grease...it's not human...whatever that thing was."

The chief grunted in irritation at the sudden disappearance of their target. "They could've continued their fight under the Hassaikai's underground facility! Search there! And whenever you find those in black armor, shoot them."

Meanwhile, Izuku and his friends were left baffled by how the scene went down.

But since both were gone, it gave them a breather. Though the greenhead was rather conflicted by the number of times that black armored figure had saved him during his battle with Chisaki, he couldn't wrap his head around the fact that he was a murderer!

Was he going to kill him right after the battle ended?

Izuku shook away the thought. At this point, he needed rest.

Though sadly, Izuku never saw Y/n in action.
