Song Fan had very little recollection of Song Huai. He had been away at boarding school since elementary school and only returned home on weekends. Even then, he rarely spent time with his younger siblings. Most of the time, he rested in his room.
However, when Song Fan was about to leave, Song Huai stood at the door and glared at her intensely, like an adversary.
"Is he doing okay now?" Song Fan asked casually.
This marked the first time Song Fan inquired about other family members. Song Ting promptly replied, "He's been occupied with a major overseas case recently. He'll be back in two days."
Song Fan nodded and didn't delve further into the conversation. In any case, it didn't matter whether Song Huai still held a grudge against her; she had moved past that.
Upon observing her, Song Ting quickly added, "He asked about you earlier and said he'd take you out to play when he returns."
