Once they returned to Li Garden, Jian Dan got out of the car just to be hoisted onto Chu Liyuan's shoulder. "Uncle, what are you doing?"
Chu Liyuan gently patted Jian Dan's butt with his hand. "Behave yourself!"
Instead of heading back to the main house, Chu Liyuan carried Jian Dan to the back garden. "Uncle, where are you taking me?"
Chu Liyuan didn't respond but the corners of his mouth turned up in a smile as he quickened his pace.
It was only when they arrived in the flower field that Jian Dan realized—Uncle had intended to bring her here!
"Uncle, what made you suddenly want to come here?"
Chu Liyuan gently set Jian Dan down on the bed, his hands planted on either side of her body, trapping her. "Jian Jian~ Isn't it time we settle our accounts?"
"What accounts? I don't understand what you're saying, Uncle!" Jian Dan turned her gaze away, feigning ignorance.
