Jian Dan was so startled by Molly's sudden move that she ended up spitting out all the coffee she had just sipped without leaving a single drop.
Meng Ran's reaction was even more intense, almost falling off the chair.
"Fuza Za, what are you doing? It's so dirty!" Molly got splashed by the coffee Jian Dan spat out.
Meng Ran stood up abruptly, and due to the force, the coffee on the table got knocked over, ruining his pristine white shirt.
"Your shirt is dirty!" Molly picked up a napkin from the table and started wiping Meng Ran.
"No need, I can do it myself!" Meng Ran was fumbling to stop Molly from wiping him while dodging backwards, and the chair behind him made a scraping noise upon contact, drawing the gazes of almost everyone in the shop.
Because Meng Ran backed away too quickly, he nearly fell over due to losing his balance.
"Are you okay?" Molly stretched out her hand to help him.
"No need! I'm fine!" Meng Ran immediately raised his hands and steadied himself.
