With Hozuki wielding a long katana and Zoku wielding a massive buster sword,the two samurai clashed with incredible power, the ground beneath them rumbled with each clash.
While the two of them seemed to be evenly matched as the fight went on,with each strike,Zoku's stance seems to get sloppier.The damage caused by Kuki on his Achilles heel is slowly weakening him as the fight goes on.
"What's wrong,big guy?getting tired?"Hozuki taunted after seeing that his opponent was struggling to parry his attacks.
"Arghhhhh!"Zoku screamed in anger as he changed at Hozuki ,putting the flat side of his buster sword in front of his shoulders to act like a shield of sorts before attempting to tackle Hozuki.
Hozuki tried to stop him with his blade but it was no use,even after being weakened,the giant's strength was still a bit too much to handle for Hozuki.
"Slam!"
Zoku knocked Hozuki away,launching him off a few feet before changing at him again like a raging rhino.Hozuki managed to regain his footing after the impact but he felt a sharp pain in his left wrist.
The attempt of blocking Zoku's change had sprained his wrist,seeing that he's in no condition to block another attack,Hozuki gathered chakra into his legs to temporarily boost his movement speed to dodge Zoku's wild tackles.
Hozuki quickly rushed to the other side of the arena after evading a couple of Zoku's tackles and took a wide stance while holding his katana with only his right arm in front of him for his left wrist is unavailable.
Zoku held out his buster sword and ran towards Hozuki blinded by rage.Hozuki calmly stood there and regulated his breathing.mumbling under his breath
"Chakra flow: 500% output"
Suddenly ,a large blue aura wrapped around Hozuki's blade,the aura was 5 times as large as the average samurai's chakra flow.
The crowd went wild as all of the samurais in the stands looked upon Hozuki in awe, seeing that what Hozuki just did was generally impossible for samurais because of its humorous chakra expenditure.
"Your puny blade doesn't scare me!"Zoku roared out in a really squeaky and adorable voice as a blue aura wrapped around his own blade.With the inclusion of chakra flow,the sizes of their blades were now roughly the same.
As Zoku rushed in preparing to clash with Hozuki's blade something unexpected happened.
From afar,Hozuki used all of his might to swing down his blade,a massive energy blade shot out towards Zoku,creating ripples in the air as it travels to the giant at high speeds.
Zoku was barely able to react by narrowly blocking it but the force was too much for Zoku to handle,the giant was sent flying out of the arena bleeding with a missing right arm and pieces of a buster sword scattered around,muttering things like "I'm sorry big brother,i have failed you" before passing out.
Needless to say,the crowd went wild as they cheered for Hozuki who was smiling gleefully like an idiot while scratching the back of his head.
"With this we have our first winner of today!The 19th division!!!"The announcer shouted as the crowd went wild for the 19th division.
