__three years later__
I've been training the gentle fang with grandpa for three years now and I'm honestly impressed by how different it is from the gentle fist.
Firstly, the gentle fist of the Hyugas focuses it's attacks on all 361 chakra points while gentle fang only targets 66 major chakra points with strikes that are significantly more fierce. To optimize power, instead of hitting with your finger tips, gentle fang attacks with the first knuckles on each finger while creating a small "fangs" of chakra covering the fingers( image small knives made of chakra protruding from each finger ).
Secondly, the stance is also different, although only recognizable to people adept in gentle fist, it is different nonetheless ,it reminds me of tiger kung fu from my past life.
Currently there's only two existing techniques, each techniques are called fangs, the first fang:predatory counter uses strikes of the knuckle to hit and redirect attacks keeping the momentum to close the distance with your foes and strike them. Not only that, if the opponent's ninjutsu is weak enough or unstable,I can use this technique and unison with my byakugan to target weak points in ninjutsus to redirect or completely dispel them!this could be used defensively AND offensively!
Although the first fang is strong, the second fang is the technique that gave my great grandfather his nickname,Crimson Haze.Second fang:Crimson barrage, gathering a large amount of chakra in your hands and heating your hands up until the pores on your palm begins to release blood vapors creating a crimson aura around your hands and then strike at high speed and precision at 66 major chakra points. The heat from the users palm and the powerful force behind the strikes is a deadly combo!
Although there's only two techniques as of yet, this has crazy potential!I sure am lucky to have such a talented great grandfather,is this the rumored plot armor??
Apart from Taijustu, I've also been learning the kenjustu samurais of the land of iron from my dad and occasionally uncle Isane, my dad's squad captain and best friend .It's focused own powerful and fast strikes similar to Kendō.
Although I haven't had experience with swords, it wasn't hard to learn so after a year I had pretty much mastered the basics. Feeling bored from using a sword all the time,I decided to switch the knife.
At first,I had difficulties when I tried to combine my Kenjutsu and Arnis because they are fundamentally different. After a year,I managed to perfectly incorporate them together creating a new knife art entirely,i call it the Uragiru style,it was so good that even uncle Isane was impressed, he said that my knife style surpasses the one he's using and asked me to tell him about the basic principles of it.For the last year, I've spent time honing this style and using it to spar with dad and uncle Isane.
Although there's many more ways that I could improve the gentle fist,my Uragiru style and even gentle fang, my 5 year old body simply is too frail to do more vigorous training since it might stunt my growth.
I don't want to meet with Hanabi as a short king do I?
