"Big sister, why must you insist on going back with me?"
Outside the metallic gates of the Hero Association, Fang Mo frowned at Tornado in front of him, "I've told you, there's no more space for you at my home. Please find another place to stay."
"No way! You must explain it to me today!"
However, Tornado was insistent, her large emerald eyes fixed on Fang Mo: "The term you just used seems off to me... I remember your house is quite close to Saitama's, right? Hurry up and take me back!"
"No, what does Saitama have to do with me?"
Fang Mo expressed his disdain: "Saitama doesn't live with me. If you want to go, fly to Z City yourself. Don't bother me, or my girlfriend might misunderstand, and we'd both be dead... You haven't been pecked by a Kingfisher, have you?"
"Can't you speak more civilly?"
Tornado couldn't help twitching at the corner of her eyes, but then she suddenly realized something, looking at Fang Mo in surprise, "Wait, you actually have a girlfriend?"
"Damn it, you venomous old woman, why can't I have a girlfriend?" Fang Mo immediately got upset, "Just because you're unwanted doesn't mean the same for me."
"What did you say?"
Hearing this, Tornado couldn't hold back her anger, "Who are you calling an old woman!?"
But before she could finish her sentence, Tornado sneered suddenly, as if she had realized something, "You're afraid of your girlfriend, huh? Hahaha... Fine, then you're dead!"
After saying that, Tornado raised her hand and firmly grasped Fang Mo's arm. She even applied telekinetic force to her grip, and then looked up at Fang Mo triumphantly, the meaning clear: you're not going anywhere.
"Woman, you're asking for it..."
Seeing this, Fang Mo's expression darkened.
Ender Teleport was similar to the Flying Thunder God Technique; it would transfer anything attached to oneself as well, meaning if he teleported back now, he'd likely take Tornado with him.
"Apologize, and I'll let go," Tornado told Fang Mo, honestly a bit pleased to see him in distress for the first time, considering how powerful he was. Telekinesis had no effect on him, so being able to trouble him like this felt like a win to her.
"...You want me to apologize?" Fang Mo laughed stubbornly, "You really don't understand how tough I can be."
Before Tornado could respond.
Fang Mo mentally activated the power of the Sword of Time stored in his storage space: "Za Warudo!"
An invisible field of time expanded outwards, silencing everything around. It seemed as though all things were covered in a layer of decayed gray. Tornado, still holding Fang Mo's arm, was also frozen in place, while Fang Mo drew the Sword of Light and sliced at his own arm.
"Think you can keep holding on to me, you little girl?"
In the stillness, Fang Mo looked disdainfully at Tornado and flicked her forehead: "If you were holding onto my leg... maybe I wouldn't dare use the sword. But a mere arm, huh, it's expendable!"
After saying this, Fang Mo deliberately posed his severed hand to give the middle finger.
Then he thought for a moment, took out a pen, and wrote three characters for 'justice' on her left cheek.
"Great! Heroes should be absolutely just!"
Fang Mo laughed proudly, then activated Ender Teleport, disappearing from the spot: "See you never."
A flash of black, and he was gone. The effect of the time stop also ended at that moment, causing Tornado to recoil back, her forehead swelling visibly with a large bump.
"Ouch!"
Tornado exclaimed in pain, truly hurt by the blow, feeling tears nearly coming to her eyes.
In reality, she would normally generate a layer of telekinetic shield around her body to automatically defend against attacks. However, for some unknown reason, her shield had failed today, almost causing her to be sent flying by the blow.
"You jerk!"
In pain, Tornado couldn't help but yell, "Why hit... huh? Where is he?"
But she was only halfway through her outcry when she realized, lowering her head, that she couldn't even see Fang Mo anymore—she was only holding onto half an arm, and that arm was still giving her the middle finger, as if mocking her.
"???"
Tornado was utterly baffled.
But let's leave Tornado aside for now; Fang Mo had already teleported back to the bathroom in his villa.
Feeling good, Fang Mo pushed open the bathroom door and walked towards the kitchen, humming a song: "Ah Xue, what are we having for dinner tonight... Hmm?"
To his surprise, the kitchen wasn't just occupied by Ah Xue.
His partner was also there, seemingly getting along quite well with Ah Xue.
Their backs were to him, quietly chatting about something, with a cutting board of sliced cake and some snacks nearby, along with half a packet of tea. Getting closer, Fang Mo could even hear their faint giggling sounds, really quite harmonious.
"Ah, this..."
Noticing this, Fang Mo unconsciously touched his head: "Am I intruding at the wrong time?"
"Ah, Master."
Ah Xue was the first to notice Fang Mo, about to greet him when she suddenly noticed his left arm, visibly tensed: "Master, master... are you hurt?!"
"Hmm?"
Hearing this, Xiao Yao also instinctively turned to look, noticing Fang Mo's severed arm and narrowing her eyes: "What happened? Who did this?"
"This... "
Fang Mo instinctively looked down at his injury, then nonchalantly responded, "It probably happened... when I accidentally dropped it in the toilet."
"Did the toilet bite your arm off?"
Xiao Yao snorted, clearly frustrated, "Can't you ever speak the truth?"
"…Cough cough, don't worry, I was just testing something," Fang Mo tried to downplay the incident while he checked the status panel, noting that normally, his wounds should heal instantly.
However, upon checking, Fang Mo discovered something amiss—there was a strange debuff called "Fatal Wound" in his status, with just a few seconds left on the countdown. Soon the countdown ended, and his arm regenerated instantly.
Realizing what had happened, Fang Mo explained to them, "I was just thinking about a gag and wanted to test it out."
"What gag?"
Xiao Yao asked curiously.
"My armor is the hardest armor, impenetrable by any weapon, but at the same time, my weapon is the sharpest, able to cut through the hardest armor..."
"Okay, I get it," Xiao Yao interrupted before Fang Mo could finish, "Diagnosis complete: you're just messing around. Ah Xue, don't feed him tonight, let him starve…"
Before she could finish her sentence, the doorbell rang suddenly.
"Um…"
Upon hearing the doorbell, Fang Mo instinctively tensed up, quickly using his mini-map to check who was at the door. Fortunately, it was Genus, not Tornado, which made him sigh in relief.
"I'll get the door."
Ah Xue wiped her hands and went to open the door.
Soon, the door swung open, and Doctor. Genus entered with a few colleagues, all of them looking expectantly at Ah Xue, "Miss Ah Xue, what are we having tonight?"
"Sorry, I haven't decided yet…"
Ah Xue looked a bit embarrassed, but before she could finish, Xiao Yao walked over, "Don't bother cooking tonight, let's just have barbecue. Just slice some meat, and that'll do."
"Yay, barbecue!" Doctor Genus cheered instantly.
"Let me know if you need any help," said the Armor Gorilla as she took off his helmet, breathing a sigh of relief. She was indeed helpful, and Genus owed much of his progress to her.
"Master, is barbecue okay?" Ah Xue looked back at Fang Mo for confirmation.
"Oh, sure," Fang Mo nodded. He had actually mentioned wanting barbecue earlier, and it was a coincidence it came up now.
As they set to work, Ah Xue hurried into the kitchen to start prepping, while Xiao Yao glared at Fang Mo before joining in to help. Ah Xue even thoughtfully tied an apron for her, and they began chatting and laughing as they worked.
"Uh…"
Fang Mo rubbed his head, feeling a bit out of place, as if he might be an unwanted third wheel.
Meanwhile, Ah Xue and the others started handling the food, while Genus led his colleagues to wait for dinner, turning on the TV to pass the time, leaving Fang Mo to his own devices.
He decided to sit at the dining table and continue working on his own reward items.
Earlier, he had realized the Everlasting Gem, and after a brief tinkering, he discovered it worked similarly to a life charm, acting as a kind of protective amulet.
After determining its effect, Fang Mo then started to materialize another object.
This time, it wasn't just any item but the Feminization Core. To be honest, Fang Mo wasn't sure which module it came from.
But just from the name, it was obvious what its function was.
In fact, he recalled a module called "Monster Feminization," which was a functional module of almost mythical strength.
Unfortunately, Fang Mo had never managed to unlock this module.
If he really wanted to unlock it, he figured he'd have to make a trip to the world of JOJO and personally charm the Pillar Men.
Aside from the Monster Feminization module, the feminization methods currently in Fang Mo's possession were quite limited.
For example, the Twilight Forest module's transformation powder didn't change gender; it transformed a life entity into another similar version, like what happened with Sonic.
Because it was called "Speed-o-Sonic."
So, it was directly transformed into a blue hedgehog with the same name.
Ah Xue was similar; she could only be transformed into a snow woman or Cirno.
And as for Chemical X, that was even more frustrating. Initially excited to see Doctor Genus use it to create agents, Fang Mo was disappointed after several tests to find that it could only feminize Genus' bio-synthetic beasts.
According to Genus, this was likely due to a particular chromosome in these beasts.
Other than these bio-synthetic beasts, any other creature that used Chemical X either evolved into a stronger version or died from exploding, suffering a genetic collapse.
That was quite annoying because Fang Mo really wanted a feminization tool to play with.
If he got annoyed, he could just feminize everyone; wouldn't that be fun?
He was curious to see what a gender-swapped Avengers would look like. And considering Loki's character… Fang Mo had wanted to switch him for a while.
Thinking this, Fang Mo started to materialize the Feminization Core.
A flash of white light, and soon a strangely shaped orb appeared in Fang Mo's hand.
This orb… looked somewhat like the S2 Engine from EVA, or like the core on Ultraman's chest, wrapped in white metal surrounding a pale pink crystal, emitting a charming glow akin to a succubus's belly tattoo.
"Hmm? This thing…"
Seeing it, Fang Mo became intrigued: "No, I need to find someone to test this... Where's Sonic?"
However, just as Fang Mo looked up to survey his surroundings, the doorbell rang again, this time with a loud, urgent sound.
"Who the heck is it now?"
Hearing the knock, Fang Mo frowned and checked the door with his mini-map.
And just with that glance, he was stunned because at the door, there was a huge crowd of icons jammed together: "What the heck… What's going on?"
