Fang Mo entered Seireitei yesterday.
Near the White Path gate, he saw the main group wanting to enter the Seireitei.
It was that kid Ichigo Kurosaki. The gatekeeper Jidanbo even opened the door for them. Sadly, Gin Ichimaru stabbed, and they were sent flying out.
However, their purpose of breaking into Seireitei was to save their teammates. Rukia Kuchiki seemed to be on the verge of execution, so they wouldn't easily give up. They spent the whole of yesterday looking for other ways. Thanks to Yoruichi, the insider, they found another way.
The method was simple and direct.
Since they couldn't get through the main entrance, they decided to fly over.
So, they found a pyrotechnician and packed themselves into a cannon. They combined their spiritual energies into a spherical shield that acted like a cannonball. With a burst of fire, they were shot directly into Seireitei.
There's actually a semi-transparent barrier in mid-air around Seireitei.
But this barrier isn't as tough as a Seireiheki, so they managed to squeeze into Seireitei.
Unfortunately, Ichigo Kurosaki's spiritual power was too immense. He couldn't sync with the others, and their energy ball exploded before it landed, scattering everyone.
The bell sound Fang Mo heard was a warning signal in the Soul Society, alerting the Shinigami that intruders had entered Seireitei and to prepare for them.
Since the main plot had begun, Fang Mo couldn't continue hiding underground studying MC items. The items could be studied anytime, but if he missed the main event, it would be gone.
So, he had Steve fill the basement.
For himself, he pulled out two Ender Swords.
"Come, sit on it and move yourself."
Fang Mo threw one to the Ice Queen, "I won't be able to take you with me for the next part, so you should stay in the sword for a while."
"Okay, I understand, master."
The Ice Queen, being a magician with a high IQ, quickly understood. She turned into a streak of light and entered the Ender Sword.
The sword's appearance changed because it now housed the Ice Queen. The blade became slender, and the dark green metal turned to an icy blue.
"Nice, another artifact," Fang Mo mumbled, picking up the icy blade. "What should I call you? Frost's Sorrow? Magic Sword Rahab? Or maybe Sweet Iron Rail in the Northeast Winter?"
He felt a slight tremor from the sword, presumably the Ice Queen's weak protest.
"Okay, okay, we'll decide later."
He stored the icy sword in his inventory and then looked at a bedrock puppet.
"Listen, get in." Fang Mo pointed the Ender Sword at the puppet.
Surprisingly, the puppet complied without resistance and was absorbed into the Ender Sword, which then transformed to look like a primitive stone sword.
"This has some properties of bedrock," Fang Mo noted. He remembered another sword in Steve's bag, "I should have added an Enderium core to that one."
Sighing, he stored the heavy sword and said, "It's still not too late. I can adjust it next time I'm back."
After stuffing the two summons into the storage space, Steve had also filled the large underground space on his side.
Thus, without any further delay, Fang Mo directed Steve to dig open the blocked entrance and walked out of the basement.
However, just as he stepped out, Fang Mo saw an orange-haired hedgehog-like head running towards him from a distance. Naturally, the figure also spotted Fang Mo and immediately halted, instinctively drawing his Zanpakuto from his back.
This orange-haired "hedgehog" was none other than Ichigo Kurosaki.
Having been separated from his teammates, Ichigo was planning to charge towards the repentance palace on his own. But from the bushes emerged a Shinigami, and sensing potential danger, he prepared for combat.
But in the next moment, Ichigo recognized Fang Mo.
"Wait, is it you!?" Ichigo exclaimed with some surprise, "You were the one at the White Gate..."
"Yo, isn't this our chicken bone?"
Fang Mo wasn't particularly surprised. Having already traversed four different worlds, he had grown accustomed to such encounters. He even greeted Ichigo with a smile, "Looks like you've made it in. By the way, where's Yoruichi?"
"Huh?"
Ichigo paused, taken aback, "You know me?"
"Sort of," Fang Mo replied, "You haven't answered my question. Isn't Yoruichi with you?"
"I got separated from my companions," Ichigo quickly replied, "I don't know where Mr. Yoruichi is. But who are you? I don't seem to recall meeting you. Why do you know me?"
"Oh, Urahara Kisuke told me," Fang Mo lied effortlessly, "That scoundrel owes me money. He said he left something valuable in the Soul Society as collateral and told me to find it myself."
"Huh?"
Ichigo seemed momentarily confused, but being the typical hot-blooded protagonist, he soon accepted Fang Mo's explanation, "So you're a friend of shopkeeper Urahara? But you're wearing Shinigami attire... Are you a Shinigami?"
"No, I'm a soul reaper," Fang Mo replied with a smirk.
"..."
Ichigo was again left dumbfounded.
However, before he could speak further, hurried footsteps echoed from behind. Ichigo's expression changed, and he sheathed his Zanpakuto and ran forward.
Not long after Ichigo fled, a group of Shinigami rushed in.
"Are you looking for a Ryoka?"
Seeing this, Fang Mo casually pointed in the direction Ichigo had fled, "He went that way, saying something about going to the Repentance Palace to save someone."
"Oh, thanks."
The group of Shinigami quickly headed in the direction Fang Mo pointed. But after a few steps, the leader halted, turning to Fang Mo with a suspicious look, "Wait... You look unfamiliar. Which division do you belong to?"
"Hmm?"
Fang Mo's eyebrows raised slightly, releasing an intimidating aura, like a vast abyss. It felt as if the ground, bricks, and everything made of spirit particles trembled in fear, as though they would be crushed any moment.
However, this aura lasted only a moment, disappearing just as the Shinigami were about to faint, as if the terrifying scene had been an illusion.
"Sorry..."
The leading Shinigami stepped back, his face pale, "I just remembered, I still need to capture that Ryoka..."
Without looking back, he fled, with the other Shinigami, cold sweat dripping, following suit.
"Mr. Kiyota, he..."
"Shut up! Do you want us all to die here!?"
Their faint conversation faded as they distanced themselves.
Fang Mo chuckled, not bothering further.
Following the path from the previous day, he soon arrived in front of the Seventh Division's barracks. The Gotei 13 was busy dealing with the Ryoka invasion. The captains were still in place, but their subordinates were running around. They had to follow the orders of the head captain to capture the Ryoka and not let the Soul Society be disgraced.
As a result, there weren't many people in the Seventh Division's barracks.
Walking with swagger, Fang Mo entered and immediately noticed Komamura Sajin sitting quietly in the main hall, along with a dark-skinned man beside him, sporting an eyepatch and twisted dreadlocks.
"Yo, Chai Chai, I'm here."
Upon seeing Komamura, Fang Mo naturally greeted him.
He then turned his attention to the dark-skinned man, saying cheerfully, "You must be Captain Tosen, right? Are you cosplaying as Illidan? That eyepatch looks quite accurate."
"Komamura, is this the friend you mentioned?"
Tosen, though confused by what Fang Mo was saying, discerned the mocking tone. He spoke up, "He must be that Ryoka from yesterday, right? What were you thinking... sheltering such a Ryoka?"
As he spoke, Tosen rested his hand on the hilt of his Zanpakuto.
"To prevent you from making further mistakes, my friend, I will personally handle this Ryoka..."
But before he could finish, Fang Mo appeared instantly in front of Tosen, pressing a hand on his shoulder, his eyes revealing a peculiar intensity.
"Hehehe, Captain Tosen, let's not be hasty now…"
