If Fang Mo represents the power of reality, then Steve, as his Stand, signifies the power of rules.
The broad-bladed greatsword in Steve's hand is also mixed with Nihilite. After continuous monster slaying and leveling up, its attack power has significantly increased, nearing 7% in percentage-based attack power.
This means that when Steve swings his sword down, it will inevitably deal damage equal to 7% of the enemy's maximum health.
Even if the opponent is an elemental life form composed of flames and molten rock and is immune to physical damage, as long as it's a biological entity capable of being attacked, the game rules of Minecraft will forcefully take effect, deducting 7% of the opponent's maximum life.
This is an attack based on rules. It doesn't matter if Surtur is an elemental creature or even a god. If it doesn't dodge or block this strike, it can't avoid this damage.
To be honest, Fang Mo didn't want to end the fight quickly. But Thor was actually counting down for him. So to save face, Fang Mo had to get serious.
His Steve doesn't have the 1.12 version's attack delay. Even with a greatsword in hand, he could unleash a flurry of slashes in the blink of an eye.
Surtur's body froze for a moment, then exploded, scattering molten lava like rain. It looked like a severe injury; its left arm was cut off, a deep wound was opened on its neck, and there was a massive hole in its chest that could even accommodate an aircraft carrier.
Surtur let out a painful scream and knelt on one knee, almost collapsing under its weight, leaning on its Twilight Greatsword, its aura dimming.
"What did you do to me?" Surtur asked weakly.
"Subdued you," Fang Mo smiled nonchalantly, pulling out a dark purple greatsword from within himself. "Don't worry, I won't kill you; I still need you the sword."
Then he leapt up and thrust the greatsword straight into Surtur's forehead. Without even a chance to speak, Surtur's head twisted into a vortex, sucking in its crown, flames, and molten rock into the greatsword. Even the boiling lava and the hot waves were sealed.
Surtur disappeared entirely, replaced by an extremely hot magma greatsword. It radiated such heat that the ground turned into a lava pool.
Fang Mo called the sword into his hand. As soon as he gripped it, he felt an astonishing wave of heat and a fury that wanted to burn everything. But such emotions barely disturbed him.
"So, has it been a minute?" he asked Thor.
Thor hesitated, looking at the flaming demon sword in Fang Mo's hand. "Er, it's one second short."
"I knew I was awesome," Fang Mo grinned.
"What if you couldn't finish Surtur in a minute?" Thor asked.
"That's impossible," Fang Mo laughed. "If I can't finish Surtur in a minute, I would flood all of Muspelheim with infinite water, turning it into Atlantisheim."
"What the hell is Atlantisheim?" Thor was perplexed.
"Don't you have any plans to change your vengeful nature?" Thor asked.
"Why are you asking me this?" Fang Mo was suspicious.
"You didn't trick me, did you? Did I really finish Surtur in a minute?" Fang Mo questioned.
"Of course it's true, I'm Thor, would I lie?" Thor answered quickly.
"Seems legit," Fang Mo nodded.
"See?" Thor sighed in relief. "Only my brother Loki would deceive people."
Fang Mo snorted, "One stabs from the front, the other backstabs, what a loving pair of brothers."
"I even turned into a frog because of Loki," Thor changed the subject, "So what's up with that sword? Did you seal Surtur in it?"
"Yes," Fang Mo explained, "I told you I wanted to use Surtur as material for a sword. This is it."
"You're really knowledgeable, even the dwarven masters of Nidavellir might not be able to do this," Thor admitted.
"The sword is made from acid-resistant aluminum and enderium," Fang Mo shrugged. "But this is just a prototype. I'll create a new scabbard for it when I return to my world."
"Does it have a name?" Thor asked curiously.
"Yes, it does," Fang Mo nodded.
"So what's it called?"
"Actually, I initially wanted to name it Ryūjin Jakka or something like Flame of the Flowing Blade," Fang Mo swung the molten greatsword in his hand. "But after some thought, it felt weird. So, I decided to call it Laevatein, the Flame Demon Sword. It fits both Castlevania and Red Devil City. How's that, pretty cool, right?"
"That sounds good," Thor couldn't help but nod. "It's quite similar to my Mjölnir, the Hammer of Thor. A demon sword imbued with the power of fire giants, quite flashy indeed. Mind if I try it out?"
"Sure."
Fang Mo didn't hesitate and handed over the End Sword, which had sealed the fire giant Surtur, or rather Laevatein, to Thor.
Excitedly, Thor took Laevatein and swung it twice. Fiery flames spread like a whip, making rocks and the earth red hot, melting everything in an instant. However, Thor didn't possess any flame-resistant abilities, so he began to smoke from the high temperature.
Even so, Thor reluctantly returned Laevatein to Fang Mo.
He pondered for a moment and suddenly pulled back in a stance, hurling Laevatein far away with great force.
Laevatein whooshed through the air, trailing a line of fire. After covering a distance of several hundred meters, it lost momentum and plummeted into a volcanic crater with a splash, sinking quickly into the molten rock.
After throwing Laevatein, Thor seemed unworried.
He struck a cool pose, and spread his five fingers pointing at the volcano.
"?"
Seeing this, Fang Mo was puzzled, "What are you doing?"
"Hmm?"
Hearing Fang Mo's question, Thor also looked at him, equally puzzled. "I'm waiting for Laevatein to fly back to me. What's the issue?"
