After several rounds of optimization.
Fang Mo finally achieved his goal of emerald generator thanks to the villagers' unwavering efforts.
Now, even the beacon at his home is made of emerald and gold blocks. He has so much of these two things that he can't possibly use them all.
Now Fang Mo directly uses emeralds to buy bread from the villagers.
It's hilarious, he simply can't finish eating them all.
These villagers are truly wealthy. Fang Mo's storage chests for emeralds are already full to capacity.
After achieving emerald factory, Fang Mo obtained a bunch of pink dyes, created numerous Geodite, and made several massive Geochest, intending to take them into the real world to play.
As for the future world to visit, Fang Mo already had a plan in mind.
In the past few days, Steve had been tirelessly mining, but the Book of Ages was indeed a rare find. He hadn't discovered a new world, yet.
Because of this, Fang Mo could only choose one of the three previous worlds to travel to.
Among them, he had just returned from the Naruto world, so it was clear he couldn't go back there in the short term. Even if he wanted to, he would definitely have to bring a comic relief character next time; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to handle it.
It seemed that Uchiha Obito was right; his world was a real challenge.
For Fang Mo, a world where he couldn't crack jokes or make hell-related puns truly felt like a challenge. Honestly, Fang Mo was even starting to consider creating an "Infinite Tsukuyomi" world, where everyone was a comic relief character.
Apart from the Naruto world, Fang Mo still had the X-Men and the Marvel worlds to consider.
He was quite interested in the X-Men world, especially since Wolverine had some great wisecracks, accumulated over half a century of experience.
But he had postponed the Marvel world for a long time.
Fang Mo truly wanted to collect Infinity Stones, even though it was acknowledged that the Infinity Gauntlet wasn't all-powerful. There was a high probability he wouldn't be able to take it home, but even a simple message to his family would be good, just to let them know he was safe, and perhaps even send a gold bar.
After experiencing several worlds, Fang Mo realized that merely seeking amusement couldn't entirely preserve his humanity. He didn't know what he would ultimately become, whether a true multiverse master or a madman destroying multiple universes. But before that, Fang Mo hoped he could at least go home to see his family.
Even if it meant leaving his parents a stack of gold bars, enchanted golden apples, and potions of regeneration, it would be a way to repay their years of nurturing.
After careful consideration, Fang Mo decided to complete the Marvel storyline first.
At the very least, he wanted to progress through the events of Infinity War, defeat Thanos, and then consider the rest. The Falcon and Winter Soldier didn't particularly interest him.
And so, with determination, Fang Mo ordered Steve to begin organizing the items.
This time, he needed to bring a lot of things. Besides a plethora of resources and items he intended to bring into reality, Fang Mo also had a bunch of Geochest.
These couldn't be stacked; each chest took up one slot.
Additionally, there were plenty of Ender Hands.
As previously mentioned, these could be consumed by the Void Ring to enhance its gravitational manipulation strength.
With these two items included, even though Steve's backpack had been expanded, it was still a bit of a challenge to fit everything. There were hardly any empty slots left in the backpack.
After organizing all the items, Steve opened the Book of Ages, titled 'Marvel Comics.'
Endless black mist surged from the book, carrying a strange sensation of weightlessness. Fang Mo and his Stand disappeared instantly from the spot.
When Fang Mo opened his eyes again, the sea breeze hit his face.
"Facing the sea, blossoms in spring..." ("面朝大海,春暖花开...") A Song.
Fang Mo took a deep breath, feeling the moist, salty sea breeze in his nostrils. He then began observing his surroundings. "Hmm... finally, not starting in a desert. So, where have I ended up this time?"
After a brief observation, Fang Mo realized he was near a beach.
Not a touristy beach, but more of a harbor. Modern industrial facilities were everywhere, and several large cruise ships were docked in the harbor. Cranes and docks were under construction above these ships.
Fang Mo wasn't well-versed in industrial matters, and he didn't know if these were elevators or cranes for ship maintenance.
The sky was already quite dark, illuminated by numerous searchlights, creating an almost daytime-like appearance. People were stationed everywhere, on guard.
But before Fang Mo could determine his location, a blinding explosion occurred ahead.
Metallic suits flew through the air—silver, gold, white, adorned with flags, letters, and various flamboyant designs.
"Hmm?"
Upon witnessing this scene, Fang Mo also paused for a moment and said, "Does this seem like... the final battle of Iron Man 3?"
Indeed, Fang Mo had some impression of this scene. He recalled that Tony Stark had developed various suits of armor, and the antagonist created something called the Extremis virus, which enhanced human abilities and allowed them to emit high temperatures, but could turn them into living bombs if it went out of control.
The antagonist kidnapped Pepper Potts, prompting Tony Stark to use all of his armor to save her.
"Fwoosh!"
As Fang Mo reminisced about the plot, another Iron Man suit exploded into fireworks in the air.
"Wow... Do battles of the wealthy really look this plain?"
Fang Mo couldn't help but comment. These Iron Man suits seemed quite expensive, costing hundreds of millions of dollars each, yet Stark managed to turn them into suicide attacks.
"I can't lose to anyone when it comes to flaunting wealth!"
Fang Mo couldn't hold back his thoughts and instantly teleported to a nearby piece of land.
Suddenly, Steve appeared, frantically laying out gold bricks on the ground, forming an impressive array of gold.
Fang Mo smiled, surrounded by 64 gold bricks, over 1,200 tons of gold that he pulled up from the ground using gravity manipulation. The gold bricks circled him as he flew around.
"Hmm... I should learn the Gold Dust Bloodline technique from Gaara when I go to the Naruto world next time. It seems suitable for showing off."
Wrapped in gold, Fang Mo flew towards the direction of the ongoing battle.
Instead of searching for Tony Stark, Fang Mo manipulated another Iron Man suit and pulled it towards him.
"Hey, kiddo, remember me?"
Fang Mo greeted the Iron Man suit with a smile.
"Mr. Fang Mo." The AI J.A.R.V.I.S. recognized Fang Mo immediately. "Welcome back. Do you need me to connect you to Mr. Stark, or should I call Mr. Nick Fury for you?"
"Tell me where Stark is. I'll go say hi to him first."
Fang Mo replied. "As for Nick Fury... I'll find him after I'm done here."
"They are together at the moment, sir."
J.A.R.V.I.S. informed Fang Mo.
"What?!"
Surprised, Fang Mo realized that Nick Fury's presence wasn't part of the Iron Man 3 plot. Had he caused another butterfly effect?
"Never mind, tell me where they are."
Fang Mo sighed and followed the AI as the Iron Man suit flew in a certain direction.
Soon, they found Tony Stark on a structure resembling a suspension bridge, accompanied by Nick Fury. Fury was armed with an unknown model of gun, continuously shooting at an enemy. However, the opponent's body emitted intense heat, melting bullets on contact.
At that moment, a golden block descended from the sky, violently smashing the opponent into a burst of gore. The impact shook the entire bridge.
As Fang Mo landed on the bridge, surrounded by gold, he smiled and greeted the two.
"Fang Mo?!"
Stark was pleasantly surprised. "God, you always drop in from the sky when I need you the most. I should really erect a statue of you in the city center."
"So, you see..."
On the other hand, Nick Fury wasn't as friendly. "Don't tell me all those flying things up there are made of gold. You didn't spend your time looting other civilizations in the universe, did you?"
"I told you, I'm good at alchemy!"
Fang Mo retorted immediately. "I worked hard to create all this gold through alchemy. It's all for the sake of competing with Stark for the title of the world's richest man."
"Indeed, it's real gold..."
Nick Fury raised an eyebrow. "So, how much ill-gotten money did you make while keeping us in the dark?"
