"Oh! Alas, I mistook it for praise. My fault!" Agatha teased, with a serious face.
Xavier chuckled at her snarky comments, and nestled his head into her shoulder, hugging her tight.
Just then, there was a knock on the door and slowly through the peeked of the door, Lilac entered the room rushing up to her parents and hugging her mother and getting in between them.
Xavier had no other option other than withdrawing his hand from his wife's body with a bitter face. As if at that moment, Xavier was seriously contemplating not having a child in future.
Agatha could read through his facial expression and chuckled before turning her head towards Lilac and hugging her back.
Xavier leaned closer to her shoulder and whispered softly in her ear, "Let us not have children in future."
Agatha gave a sharp glance at his comments and gave a disappointed look like a warning to him that if he dared to do that something he would be regretting.
