Samantha took a cautious step back as the guard drew out his gigantic sword. Her heart pounded as Brian swiftly grabbed her wrist so they could run in the opposite direction, but they were forced to stop when another guard emerged from the shadows, blocking their path.
Their armors gleamed in the dim light, and their eyes glinted menacingly as they sized Samantha's features from head to toe. One of the guards signaled to his partner using his hands, and Samantha understood the prospect of what was about to happen– they were deliberately taken note of her features to confirm if she was the lady Carmela had ordered them to find, and it was already too late coming up with a solution cause they seemed to have hit the realization.
