"How cunning." Ivan's eyes sparkled with mirth when he turned on the door knob to find it locked. Of all things he had imagined his little lamb would do in order to get away from him, locking the door and keeping him out was definitely not on the list.
Surprisingly, his little lamb surely knows how to play the game a lot better than he expected. If it were someone else, she would have won to be more precise, since getting to her while the door was locked would be nearly impossible. But then again, she seems to forget that he wasn't all human, but a vampire with innate abilities…..and one of those abilities includes breaking the door down with his physical strength, or possibly, unlocking the door using one of his psychic phenomena.
