Chapter 38 - Fire and More Fire 2

I charged at him, my fists pounding against his chest.

He blocked my blows with ease, his muscles rippling under his skin. But I could see the strain in his eyes, the effort it was taking to hold. I pushed myself and tried with all my strenght. Suddenly i felt a change in balance and i was the getting pushed away.

"I'm disappointed. That's all you have to offer. I haven't had enough fun yet. I hope Artemis finishes her rendezvous soon. Come on, show me your power," he said hatefully and confidently.

I jumped back and took a deep breath. I had to think of something fast to survive. Sweat baths I inhaled and exhaled. I could not succumb to his hatred and had to fight in harmony with myself.

I charged at Helios with my sword in hand, ready to take him down. He stood there, a cocky grin on his face, his fists at the ready. I knew I was up against a formidable opponent, but I refused to back down.

We circled each other, eyes locked in a fierce stare. I could feel the tension in the air, the heat radiating off Helios' body like a fiery aura. I tightened my grip on my sword, feeling the weight of it in my hand.

Without warning, Helios lunged forward, his fists slamming into my chest with tremendous force. I stumbled backwards, my breath knocked out of me. He laughed, a deep, throaty sound that filled the air.

"You think that toy of yours can stop me?" he taunted, gesturing at my sword. "I am the god of the sun, boy. You are nothing to me."

I gritted my teeth, determined not to give up. I charged at him again, my sword slashing through the air. But Helios was too fast for me. He dodged my blows with ease, his fists slamming into my body again and again.

I felt myself growing weaker, my body battered and bruised from the constant onslaught. But I refused to give up. I knew that I had to land at least one good hit if I wanted to have any chance of defeating him.

With a fierce cry, I lunged forward, my sword slicing through the air. Helios dodged to the side, but I managed to land a glancing blow on his arm. It wasn't much, but it was something.

He laughed, unfazed by my attack. "Is that all you've got, boy?" he sneered, his fists glowing with a fiery aura. "You are no match for me."

But I refused to give up. I circled around him, waiting for my next opportunity. I could feel the sweat pouring down my face, my heart pounding in my chest. But I refused to back down.

We clashed with each other, my sword striking against his fists with a metallic clang. I could feel the heat radiating off his body, the intensity of his power almost overwhelming.

But I kept fighting, my movements becoming faster and more precise.

Suddenly, I heard a voice in my head. It was my father, long gone but still with me in spirit. "You can do it, son," he said. "Just start enhancing your body with your power. And stay on his blind side."

I took a deep breath, closing my eyes for a moment to center myself. When I opened them again, I could feel the power coursing through my veins. I backed off, as my father had instructed, and circled around to Helios' blind side.

He sneered at me, thinking I was giving up. "What's the matter, boy?" he taunted. "Tired already?"

But I was far from tired. I was just getting started. I launched myself at him again, my fists pounding against his chest. He blocked my blows with ease, but I could see the surprise in his eyes as I dodged to his blind side.

Then, I struck. My fist connected with his jaw, sending him staggering backwards. I followed up with a flurry of blows, each one landing with a satisfying thud. Helios fought back, his own fists blazing with a fiery aura, but I was ready for him this time.

We clashed with each other, sweat pouring down our faces, dust flying up around us with each blow. I focused all my attention on the battle, my father's voice still echoing in my head, urging me on.

Helios was strong, but I was faster and more agile. I dodged his blows with ease, striking back with precise, calculated attacks. I could feel the power surging through my body, making me feel alive and invincible.

Helios was getting angrier with each passing moment, his face contorted with rage. But I remained calm and focused, my mind sharp and clear. I knew I had him on the ropes.

Then, I saw my opening. Helios let his guard down for just a moment, and I seized the opportunity. I dashed forward and struck him underneath his eye, sending him reeling backwards.

He stumbled, his feet kicking up dust as he struggled to regain his balance. But I was relentless. I charged at him again, my fists pounding against his chest with all my strength.

He fought back, his own blows coming faster and harder. But I was ready for him this time. I dodged his attacks, striking back with even more force.

The battle raged on, the two of us locked in an intense struggle. But in the end, I emerged victorious. With one final blow, I knocked Helios to the ground, his fiery aura flickering and fading away.

I stood there, breathing hard, my body still buzzing with the power of the battle. I looked down at Helios, who lay there motionless, defeated.

I had done it. I had defeated the mighty Helios. And I knew that my father had been with me every step of the way.

"Koch.Koch. You are stronger then i thought." Helios whispered while slowly getting up on his knees.

I charged forward with all the strength I had left, sword raised high. Helios simply stood there, his arms crossed in front of him as if he were daring me to try and strike him.

With a roar, I swung my sword towards his head. Helios dodged with a snake-like movement, and before I knew it, he was behind me. I felt a sharp pain in my upper back as he plunged a small dagger into my flesh. I stumbled forward, my body convulsing in pain. Helios pulled the dagger out with a slick movement, slicing my upper body in the process.

I fell to the ground, my vision fading in and out of focus. Helios stood over me, a smug look on his face. "Did you really think you could defeat me?" he sneered. "You're nothing but a weakling."

I tried to lift my sword to defend myself, but my arms wouldn't move. I was paralyzed with pain and fear. Suddenly, I heard a voice in my head. It was my father's voice, strong and clear. "Son, don't give up. You have the power to overcome this."

With a surge of strength, I forced myself to stand up.

Helios looked surprised for a moment, but then he simply shrugged and charged towards me. I tried to dodge his attacks, but I was too slow. He landed blow after blow, each one more painful than the last. I swung my sword, but he easily deflected it with his bare hands.

I fell to the ground, my body broken and battered. Helios stood over me, ready to strike the final blow.
