"Hey! Wait for me!" I yelled at the bus as I chased it down the street. But as if the driver didn't hear me he closed the door and drove off.
'Ah damn it.' I thought as I kept running in order not to be late for my class.
You see, today was my first day in engineering class and I didn't want to make a bad impression on my professors and new classmates. I was always an introvert and a nerd so I didn't have many friends and this year is the year I'm determined to have a fresh start. A new year for a new me.
"Watch where you're going!" The man I squeezed past yelled.
"Sorry!" I just kept running with an exhausted reply. 'Man, I gotta improved my cardio if running for barely 2 minutes wrung this much out of me.'
Even when being tired, I didn't stop running. It took me making a few water breaks but I made it near the campus with 1 minute left till the class start.
"Hah...Hah.... come on me, almost there" I wheezed out.
Just as I was crossing the street. I hear some scrapping coming closer and closer. I turned my head to the sight of one massive truck flipping toward me. The world seemed to slow down. I could almost see every detail the truck had but my body seem to have froze over.
'So it's gonna end like this? All of my plans, future... just like this?' I closed my eye, embracing the impact.
