As I hurtled through the air, accepting my impending demise, I closed my eyes, ready to embrace the darkness. But as soon as I surrendered to the void, I felt a peculiar warmth enveloping me.
Curiosity mingled with confusion as I opened my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar place. My surroundings defied logic and reason. It seemed that I had been transported to another realm, far removed from the world I knew.
"Did I end up in a pocket dimension"-Cough! Cough! I hollered as my phlegm-filled throat sought reprieve-"Being poisoned f****** sucks"- I thought while taking in my surroundings.
The dark and foreboding skies above burned with a blood-orange hue as I explored this desolate landscape. Charred remnants littered the ground seemingly originating from the three volcanoes in the distance and blackened trees lined with cracks spread out as far as the eye could see.
