Lisa woke up from her blissful sleep with a loud yawn.
Looking out her window, she noticed the sky had a deep colour of orange and she could bet that it was probably early in the morning.
She pulled off the covers of her bed and quickly rushed to the bathroom, taking a quick bath and getting dressed in her uniform.
"He didn't really mean it when he said that i wasn't meant to come out of the room without his permission now did he?." She thought out loud as she peered at the door that was shut.
She wanted to open it but the stinging pain on her hand left by his last punishment was not letting her body move an inch.
"It will be fine." She assured herself multiple times.
All she needed to do was go out and search for the flower without Lucas knowing, it's not like walking out of her own room was forbidden right?.
Speaking of forbidden, could the flower probably reside in the forbidden library?.
Now that she thought of it, it did seem like a liable place for a mystical flower as such.
After much contemplation, she finally stepped out of the room and warily glanced at Lucas's room which was shut to her relief.
She immediately wobbled out of there, trying not to seem ominous but at one look, anybody would tell that she was crazy.
She had to try and fit in.
She stopped wobbling and straightened up, dusting the invisible dirt off the skirt of her gown
She smiled and greeted people on the way, her speech curt and short, always ending any conversation that started immediately.
The further she walked in, the lesser people-maids especially she saw and soon there was no one on her path as she made a quick turn to walk into a dead end.
These were the times she was thankful for having a fairly good memory.
Now that she thought of it, if it weren't that she was in Lillian's body and she knew this place already, she wouldn't have come here in the first place, so if it was the real Lilian would she have come here or gone somewhere else?.
Shaking her head she tried not to think of that now because there was no one else except herself who could find the answer to that.
Placing her hand on the wall, she heard a clink sound before the door opened and she saw a set of stairs that led down, disappearing at the far end.
This was it.
Without giving it a second thought she entered and carefully climbed down the stairs.
She had been here before so she knew that there were no real threats here. Despite knowing that, she still kept her guard up as this was the past and could be different from the future she had come from. She hadn't even reach the large step but could here a loud commotion coming from the passage way.
She hastened her steps, and the closer she got, the louder the voices and quite unsurprisingly, she heard the two brother shadows.
"Can't two of us guard it?." One pleaded but there was a clashing sound.
"I was the only one assigned by the prince to guard it so you won't join me!." The other sounded angry.
Lisa saw it, the golden door was right there in front of her and her ticket out of here. Maybe if she returned the flower back, she could go back home to Lucas!.
But she has to get passed these brothers first.
"Excuse me." She waved and instead the brothers paid no attention and continued their squabble.
"Excuse me?." Her tone was higher yet they didn't even spare her a single glance.
"Excuse me!." She was loud. She was sure of it because her voice echoed loudly and the brothers stopped to look at her.
"What are you doing here?." The one she had deemed as the opposer asked and she smiled sheepishly.
"Just taking a stroll into the forbidden library ya' know exercising." She flexed her upper muscles and she was sure that if those shadows had eyes they would probably be blinking at her.
"Whatever it is that you want to do you can't do it here or you'll get killed." His hand reached for his word and his brother looked at her mutely.
"Wait! Before you do anything rash, can I at least ask the reason why you guys were fighting?." She smiled kindly and the shadow seemed to have forgotten about the sword momentarily as he turned to his brother.
"My brother wanted to join me and guard this door." There was a venomous tone in his voice and this confused her.
"Why can't he?."
"Exactly!." His brother rose up his hands, supporting what Lisa said.
"Because he is so annoying and I can't help but want to kill him each second."
"How dare you." The quiet one pulled out his sword and his brother followed making a very familiar scene appear in front of Lisa's eyes again.
"Enough!." She shouted and they both stopped to stare at her again and she took a deep breath before saying in a rush.
"You know, what you said wasn't enough to justify the reason for you hating your brother this much. Do you know how lucky you are? To have a sibling that stays by your side, fights with you, and you can even put silly blames on him. Siblings are to be cherished, they are precious." Her voice was getting smaller and smaller as she spoke and her eyes watered.
"The time you have with them might be shorter than you actually expect so don't miss a chance to right the wrongs." She was whispering now.
"Don't miss the chance to enjoy every last moment." She sniffed and quickly blinked back her tears but the scene in front of her shocked her to no end.
The two shadows were hugging each other and were supposedly crying?.
