"Why are you telling me all these?." Lisa frowned at the discret information that her mother was passing to a random stranger.
It was not like she didn't appreciate the additional knowledge but it was all too much.
She didn't really know how to put it.
"Normally, I wouldn't have been telling you all these or even Lilian herself but you seem like someone that attracts trouble." Her mother said frankly and Lisa let out a fake gasp.
"Excuse me?."
"Exactly." Her mother sighed and looked at Lisa seriously.
"Before you go I will have to put a spell on you to make sure you smell like a demon, if not you are going to get killed before even stepping inside the castle." She clasp her hands and started muttering some words.
"Crayerfillagenvin"
Lisa was surprised by the sudden change in language by her mother. Her voice was sounding exactly like the whisper.
Her mother's hair flew upwards. A bright light radiating around her. It was then Lisa noticed that her mother's hair turned to a shiny silver, having similar resemblance to the colour of celestial's hair!
Now that she thought of it, celestial had said that she was the queen of the white witches. How come her mother was still the queen and Lucas if she was correct was already crowned the prince?
They said they killed the former rulers to get their places. Did that mean celestial had killed her mother?
But her mother was kidnapped back at home right?
Lisa felt her head spin with all the new information she was getting. Many things were not adding up and she was going to unlock every mystery that had been hidden away from her through this opportunity.
"It is done. Now no one will suspect that you are a witch." Her mother returned back to normal and Lisa nodded in affirmation.
"Before I go, I'll like to ask one question. Who is the leader of the light witches?."
Her mother gave her a bewildered expression"There is no such thing as light witches, we witches are not divided and stand together as sisters."
Hearing her mother's answer Lisa concluded.
It meant that when celestial came in power was when the witches divided and that hadn't occurred yet.
"Thank you for the advice mother." Lisa bowed her head and her mother smiled.
"No problem. I'll be sending my most trusted maid to escort you to the castle and she will fill you in on some minor details."
"Celestial!." Her mother called out and celestial stepped out of the shadows in a white outfit making Lisa blink multiple times to ensure that she was seeing well.
"You know what to do." Her mother ordered and celestial bowed her head.
"Yes my queen."
"Lilian. Know that whatever happens, happens only because it is written that way. Everything have been planned and nothing anyone does or tries to do can change that."
After saying that, her mother left the room and celestial turned to her and shone her a bright smile.
"Lilian! You're back." She hugged Lisa and Lisa forced a smile.
"Yep, I'm back."
"Come, let's go, I'll tell you all you need to know about this mission." Celestial separated from the hug and immediately pulled Lisa out of the room. Her footsteps moving faster than Lisa's.
They left the coven and walked a distance before seeing a carriage and entering it.
"The castle please." Celestial told the Coachman and paid him before coming to seat beside Lisa.
"I can't believe you are finally going to the castle!." Celestial squealed and Lisa let out a nervous laughter. Wasn't witches supposed to hate demons? Why did it feel like she and celestial had been wishing to meet them?.
"I know right? Can you remind me why we were so excited?." Lisa tried to sound as normal as possible and thankfully, celestial didn't notice.
"We had never met demons remember? That's why we wanted to know how they truly looked like and maybe even kill one as a present for mother." Celestial informed her and Lisa's blood ran cold.
Kill? Just how cruel was this Lilian?.
"Of course. How could I forget." Lisa smiled and celestial smiled brighter before jumping.
"We are almost there. And before I forget, mother said that you have to work as a maid there and unfortunately I can't come with you." Celestial's spirit died and Lisa playfully hit her arm.
"You can always come and visit me once in a while." Lisa encouraged and Celestial's smile came back.
"Really?."
"Absolutely."
The carriage came to a halt and the castle Lisa saw not too long ago came in view. The castle didn't look one bit different from the future and Lisa felt at ease.
This was her home.
"Bye Lilian." Celestial hugged Lilian one more time as Lisa came out of the carriage and Lisa hugged her back.
"Bye Celestial." She waved at the carriage as it departed and turned to the large castle. Taking a deep breath before approaching the large gates.
"No." The guard at the gate told her frankly before she could even open her mouth to speak.
"What do you mean no?." She asked flabbergasted. Did he even know why she had come here?.
How insolent!.
"I mean you cannot come to beg for money, or ask for a job, or come to admire the prince's face." He recited it like he had done it a million times and Lisa felt insulted.
"In case you haven't noticed I am here to seek for a job and not to beg or look at your prince's stupid face!." Her face turned red in anger as her hand gripped the metal gates.
"Who is that woman calling the prince's face stupid?." A calm voice interrupted and a man approached the gates from within.
Lisa's eyes widened in surprise as she watched Theodore walk to her. He looked so different.
His brown hair was tied to a low pony tail, his grey eyes sparkled in mischief which were magnified by a pair of glasses that sat perfectly on the bridge of his nose and his face looked younger but not too young.
"Theodore!." She called out and immediately closed her mouth with her palms but it was too late to do that.
"Hmm? You know my name?."
