Chapter 79 - *GRAVEYARD-PART 3*

"Then you could have at least given me a warning!." Her face flushed when the scenes kept repeating themselves in her head.

"Well you didn't give me a warning before going out to flirt with some random demon." He folded his arms and Lisa's eyes widened.

"Flirt? You call that flirting?." Her face was getting more flushed and it wasn't out of embarrassment but of slight anger.

"Yes I do." He proved stubborn and she fumed.

Two could play at that game.

"That isn't what they call flirting Lucas and let me make one thing clear. That random demon has a name! And his name is Christin!." Lisa didn't know why she was supporting that demon but she definitely knew that she wasn't flirting with him.

"Don't you dare mention his name in front of me again." The frustration in his eyes grew and Lisa straightened up before whispering.

"Christin."

"You-" He started but got cut off by Lisa who placed her finger on his lips. Completely scattering all train of thoughts he had in mind.

"Just admit that your jealous Mr grumpy pants." Her finger slid down his lips and landed on his chest, her once innocent eyes gazing at him in a different manner entirely and he was completely speechless.

"That wasn't what they called flirting." She whispered, her tone changing to a seductive one.

"This is what they call flirting." After saying that, she tapped his cheeks and walked out, leaving Lucas who stood still like an immovable rock.

Shock couldn't even describe what he was feeling.

Meanwhile, as soon as Lisa stepped out, she let out a long breath she didn't know that she was holding. She didn't know where that confidence had come from but she definitely knew that she had left Lucas completely speechless.

Serves him right for always putting her in that state!.

It was about time he got a taste of his own medicine.

She smirked in triumph and walked over to Christin who had his head bended on the table.

"Christin." She called out and he immediately lifted his head, his eyes glittering in amazement as he stared at her.

"Lisa you're back. I hope everything is alright?." He asked, his eyes quickly darting back to Lucas who approached them with a grim expression.

"It is. But I'll have to leave now, it was a pleasure making your acquaintance." She smiled and Christin stood up and gave Lisa a tight hug but pulled back immediately when he felt the temperature strangely drop suddenly.

It felt like someone was boring holes through his back and he turned around to see Lucas staring at him with his hallow blue eyes and he vividly shivered.

Lisa could only sigh when she saw what happened and that only proved that Lucas was indeed jealous of this poor demon.

"I-i will be on my way now. Good bye beautiful." He bowed his head and literally ran out of the restaurant.

Lisa frowned and looked at Lucas about to give him an earful of what he had done but he only walked passed her and her frown deepened as she followed him.

"Lucas!." She tried to keep up with him but he was walking too fast and she had to stop and catch her breath as her chest burned from running that distance. Only then did Lucas stop and walk back to her.

"Where are you going?." She wheezed as she held her chest tightly, her breath forming foggy clouds.

"Are you alright?." He frowned when he noticed that she wasn't calming down and he swept her off her feet, taking her completely off guard.

"What are you doing?." She whispered in horror when she saw alot of passerbies watching them with great interest.

"I'm doing my job. Next time don't run after me like that." He continued walking forward and Lisa put her hands over his neck.

"Then next time don't run away." She stuck her tongue out and relaxed in his embrace. Lucas could only shake his head as a small smile appeared on his lips.

"Are we going to the graveyard now?."

"Yes. Are you scared of it?." He questioned and she nodded.

"A little."

"Why?."

"Because it has ghosts." She shivered when she remembered all those portraits that her lookalike had showed her.

"You are thinking of something. Tell me about it." He asked her and she stared up at his perfect face which looked perfectly calm just as it always have been.

"When I was in that mirror world, I met my lookalike." She started and Lucas nodded, telling her to continue.

"She said she was me and that she wanted to possess my body. She also showed me some portraits of the events that had happened to me and you with her standing in the shadows and watching us."

"That's great. We have a crazy fan already." Lucas mused and Lisa couldn't help the smile that came up her face.

"I even saw that maid that died holding up a cup of poison and laughing." She concluded and Lucas's smile broadened.

"Is that why you were scared?."

"Isn't it obvious?." She let out a small cough and Lucas rocked her a little, his eyes taken in every change of her expression.

"Everything alright?." He stopped walking and she bobbed her head.

"Yeah." She replied and he continued walking.

"You don't have to be scared of ghosts little deer. Just have in mind that ghosts are only a shallow version of what those people used to be." He assured her and she smiled.

"I'll keep that in mind."

Finally, they arrived at two rusted gates that creeped as the wind blew past them and an old rusted sign that barely hanged up held the word cemetery written on it.

"What exactly are we going to do here Lucas?." Lisa asked as Lucas leaped over the fence easily and dropped her gently on the floor, immediately holding her hand afterwards.

"We need to check one of the graves." He lead her forward and as if informed, the fog covered the whole ground instantly, growing immensely each passing second.

"Don't let go of my hand little deer, this fog is known to eat people alive."

"What?."
