"Why are you taking so long to come back little deer?" Lucas stroked Lisa's pale cheeks gently, pushing a single strand of hair that had come to fall on her face behind her ears.
"Don't you miss being away from me for this long?" He continued, staring at her peaceful expression that was submerged in a deep sleep.
Meanwhile, behind Lucas, the tension was evident. Theodore, Carmillia, celestial and Grey couldn't stop worrying about Lisa who had yet to awake. They couldn't speak as Lucas was there but through their eyes alone, communication was possible.
Soon enough, Lucas stood up for the first time in three days that she had been unconscious and everybody froze.
Compared to how he had just spoken to Lisa, his face had taken a 360° turn to anger.
"Will one of you tell me what is really going on?" He spoke, the room's temperature instantly dropped and they all shivered.
What did they expect? They were already lucky that he had stayed this long without noticing.
"We can't Lucas. We can't tell you what happened." Celestial was the one who spoke and Lucas's eyes narrowed down at her.
He didn't know why he hadn't noticed before but no one in this room was acting like Thier normal self. For the past 3 days, they had all acted really different. They were all too quiet and he doubted it was only because of the first news.
"Why not celestial?"
"It's because-" She started but got interrupted by Theodore.
"We can't hide it forever celestial." He looked at her and her eyes dropped in admittance and she nodded, giving Theodore the go ahead.
"Lucas, whatever I'm going to tell you, you have to take it very calmly." He explained and Lucas glared at him.
"Just spit it out!"
"Lisa's soul is no more in her body." Theodore confessed and lucas scrunched his brows in confusion.
"What do you mean by her soul is no more in her body?" There was a certain edginess in his voice that slithered around Carmillia like a snake.
Slowly, frost covered the windows and they vibrated violently and Lucas didn't even move a single finger.
"That, we don't know yet and are still trying to figure it out but getting angry will solve nothing." Theodore stated calmly to Lucas who raged the next second.
"I shouldn't be angry? How won't I be fucking angry if I have no idea where her soul is! How!?"
" Umm.. excuse me?" Carmillia interrupted
"I think I have an idea on where her soul is."
Everyone paused and immediately turned to Carmillia who felt pressured under Thier gazes, especially Lucas's.
"Tell me where she is." Lucas ordered, his eyes not leaving Carmillia for a single second.
"I'm not sure yet but from what I've heard, the only place stray souls go to is the mirror world."

Only a second of distraction was all she needed. Everything happened instantly in that one second.
She grabbed the knife that was at her throat with all her strength and flung it towards the woman's face who screamed in pain and Lisa not wanting to waist that precious moment, turned around and ran as fast as she could.
Her first step had been accomplished, now all she needed to do was-
Her hair was yanked backwards and she didn't know how it happened but the next thing she knew was that she was crashed into the nearest wall and she fell down with a loud thud.
"You can't escape from me! All I need to do is kill your soul and I'll be able to possess your body as mine."
"Kill her."
A whisper brushed brushed passed her ears and Lisa frowned. Those were the same whispers that speak to her, how come it is suddenly on the opposing side?.
"I'll kill you!." The woman screamed, her hair flying upwards in an eerie way as an invisible iron grip pushed Lisa up and held her neck tightly.
"Kill her!"
The voice turned more aggressive as a black glow surfaced Lisa's hands and gradually enveloped her body. She tried to fight over it but the tight grip on her kneck distracted her and she eventually gave into it.
A bright light enveloped the whole room, sending Lisa's lookalike flying through the window and out of the house.
The building shook, Lisa's powers spiralled out of control, her chest ached so bad she felt like digging a whole through it and pulling her heart out.
"Kill her." She whispered to herself. Her eyes soulessly staring at the air as she continually repeated those two words.
"Lisa!" Lucas called out. His eyes took in the damage that was being caused by a bright darkish white glow in the middle of the house. Until he noticed her. Only she had the power to do this. Something like this ccouldn't be done by anyone but her.
He rushed towards her, and hugged her tightly"Lisa? Are you alright?." He pulled back as he noticed that the bright light gradually faded but Lisa kept looking at the air and muttering.
"Kill her."
"Kill her."
"Kill her."
"Hey, Lisa look at me." He grabbed her chin lightly, forcing her to stare straight into his eyes."Who am I?" He questioned.
Her gaze fluntered, her eyes looking confused"I don't know."
"Try harder, who am I Lisa?" He asked again and this time her eyes beamed in recognition.
"L-lucas?" She stuttered, her eyes watering soon after."I thought I would never see you again." She burst out, tears rolling down her smooth cheeks and Lucas wiped it instantly. Smoothening her hair in a soothing way.
"Calm down little deer, I'm here now." He forced a smile on his face and Lisa sighted the pain he barely hid beneath his smile but just as she was about to ask, celestial and the others bursted through the foor and they both stood from the floor.
During standing, lisa swayed a bit and Lucas caught her, his eyes gazing down at her with an emotion she couldn't quite identify.
Was it hurt? Or care?.
"Lisa, how are you feeling now?" Celestial asked as Lucas left Lisa's side and made way for her to examine Lisa.
"I don't feel anything actually, it's almost like nothing happened to me at all." She smiled at celestial who forced a small smile out.
That only approved of Lisa's suspicion. Something was definitely wrong here.
"Let's go back to the underworld and get you back in your body before I ask any further questions." Celestial informed and Lucas opened a portal which they all entered quietly and Lisa noted that.
