"Yes! I feel amazing, my Lord. The previous Demon Lord will be in shock and pure bliss to know you completed their mission." The man named Rudolf said, his anticipation palpable. The Demon Lord, clad in black and purple, smiled. He was happy to finish the job he was given.
He proceeded to rest on his throne made from human bones and relaxed his muscles. He started to crack his joints to release pressure. He looked to his right and looked directly at me. He smiled at me, but I immediately lowered my head in a bow as a good maid would.
"Anuva, are you feeling alright?" The Demon Lord said. I blushed instinctively. To think someone as powerful as him would care about a lowly maid. I continue to bow and not say anything. In the corner of my eye, I saw that he frowned.
I must stop him. I worked so hard to live a life so I can be with him. Yet, he throws it away! For what? For glory in destroying the world? That is pitiful. That is disgusting! Tonight, I must betray his heart only to show him my love.

"Damn... to think... my maid would co...me and atta...me." My master said, breathing every as blood filled his lungs. Why is the world crumbling? I thought if I could kill him, the world would be saved. Is it so wrong to want a marriage?
For years, I was treated poorly. For years I was worked to the bone. For years, the one I loved tricked and used me. I don't even know what the hell I am doing! "Wait, wait, wait. Hold up for a second, please. So this thing that is called the Demon Lord was going to destroy the world. He succeeded in his predecessor's goals." I said, trying to rack my brain.
"Correct," Anuva said with a straight face.
"You were adopted as his daughter, or maid, or something. You then fell in love with him and did everything he asked?" I asked Anuva.
"Correct, and he never called me for nighttime duties." She said with a sad face.
"Ew, too much info. Anyways, you wanted to marry The Demon Lord. He didn't want to get married because the world was going to end soon anyway." I said to Anuva.
"Correct." Anuva said.
"Then you wanted to have his babies, but he refused, so you killed him. Then, after that, the world changed from there?" I asked Anuva.
"Yes, correct!" Anuva said.
I got up from the couch and slammed my hands into the coffee table. I was furious at the she-devil in front of me. "How the hell do you think normal people would believe that bullshit!" I yelled at her, making Luna open the door slightly to oversee the conversation. Actually, when did she get here?
"No, no, I'm just no." I said, trying to form some type of words to come out.
"What is there not to believe? Don't you think this world is not normal? Demonic beasts roaming around and killing people for sport or some other stupid reason." Anuva asked me. I have to say she has a point if I wasn't born in this world when it is what it is.
