Chapter 67 - Chapter 7: The Guild Master

Is that the guild master? I think so. She? No he, he is just very feminine. Out of everyone here he is dressed nicely. Wait, he was walking over to me. I thought he was going to walk past me.

"Is your name Sephker, sir?" He asked in a nice tone. I responded with kindness. I wasn't expecting a male to treat me nicely in this place.

"Yes, sir! Am I in trouble?" I asked.

"No, I just need to speak with you in my office. It is upstairs. Please follow me." The man said while turning around and heading upstairs. I followed him into a room that had double doors. This must be his office. The male opened the door and left it open for me to get enter the room without having to open the door again.

When I walked into the office I was impressed. It was furnished and decorated with lots of things. It was furnaced with demonic beast leather. Not sure what that fur is from but it must have been a really high-ranked monster.

The coffee table in between two full-sized sofas is fancy. My father says it is nice to have fancy coffee tables. We only have one in the house. Having multiple fancy coffee tables would make even him broke.

The reason why it is fancy is because of one simple thing. Glass is being used. Glass itself is expensive. If an item has glass and other components now that is a pricey item. Glass is fragile and can easily break.

It also has a design that isn't simple and plain. It has flower carvings. It is also uneven. Not in the case of its structure but its design.

"Please have a seat. I heard you got skills out of nowhere. I want to make sure they are added to the system." The man said. Who ratted me out? I did I think. I wanted to update my guild card. I wonder if he will be surprised to see even more skills.

I had to if I wanted to get to take on harder quests. I took on gathering quests and slime-slaying quests but those paid horribly. The best thing I did was hunt goblins from time to time when they allowed me to. Other than that I would hunt them and collect a reward for proof of their death.

Taking on quests improved my income greatly. Without it, a lot of my skills would have never happened. I can also thank the books I have read. I am sure I got a True Strike from a book. It also could have been the skill Clear Illusion. Either way, I still got a skill from many things. I need them to catch up.

I handed him my guild card and the card was updated to show him all my skills. He was surprised to see how many skills I recently obtained. He started to think deeply. So deeply he put his hand on the side of his head.
