Lian Chen opened the door to find Elder Qin Tian standing there, his usually stern face softened with a hint of concern. "Lian Chen, may I come in?" Qin Tian asked, his voice gentle but insistent.
Lian Chen nodded, stepping aside to allow Elder Qin Tian to enter. Qin Tian walked in, his eyes scanning the room with a practiced gaze that seemed to take in everything at once.
"Lian Chen," Qin Tian began, his tone serious, "there is something important we need to discuss. It's about the techniques that I've taught you recently for the Inter-Pagoda Competition.
"Why is Elder Qin Tian so serious all of a sudden?" This was the first time that Lian Chen had seen Elder Qin Tian being so serious. Upon hearing Qin Tian mentioning the techniques that he had taught him, Lian Chen curiosity was piqued. "What about them, Elder Qin?"
