"I am sick..." Iohan's voice cut through the room, firm and unyielding.
Stunned silence followed. Muniere's jaw clenched, anger melting into concern. Luna's eyes softened, a mix of sorrow and determination filling them. Nyx and Apollo exchanged worried glances, their earlier frustration dissipating.
"This sickness, it's been draining me. I can barely use my power anymore…" Iohan's breath shuddered, the weight of his confession settling over everyone.
Lilian's grip on his shoulder tightened, her gaze fixed on him with silent support.
Muniere leaned forward, his eyes searching Iohan's. "Is it what we think it is?" His voice was calm, but the worry was unmistakable.
Luna placed a hand on Iohan's other shoulder. "Why didn't you tell us, brother?"
