A day has passed since Mr. Smith told me about the exam next Sunday.
Most of my classmates were nervous about dropping out.
Because of this, many of them decided to make a study group in order to pass the exam.
Including Fisa, she invited me to join her study group.
I still didn't know the members, so I decided to join her.
It was just in case that person was going to bother Fisa, or maybe even join her study group.
"Hey, Satomi. Why are you daydreaming?"
"Umm?"
Suddenly, my cheek was pulled by Fisa and that's when my consciousness returned.
I had been thinking too much and had been daydreaming and was finally brought back to consciousness by Fisa.
Right now we were planning to meet up with the others at the cafe and intend to talk about the study group there.
"Ah, sorry. I was thinking about the exam."
"Yes, I know. Who wouldn't be nervous if they were threatened with dropout?"
"That's how it is."
Actually, I lied a little.
I wasn't thinking about the exam, or rather I was thinking about Fisa herself.
If the person I loved dropped out, then I wouldn't be able to see her again for the next three years.
I'm sure that I'll be able to pass the exam well.
But what about Fisa?
For the athletic exam, I think she'll be able to handle it, especially since she has a pretty athletic body for a girl.
The problem was the academic exams, because it was possible that failing one subject would result in a 100 point deduction.
"Fisa, how many points do you have now?"
I asked her.
"Umm... maybe around 800 points? I haven't checked lately."
"Check it now!"
"Why?"
"Just check it!"
"Okay."
It wasn't that I was forcing her, but it was important.
Then Fisa opened her phone and showed me the screen.
"Are you satisfied?"
"What's about 800 points? You have 689 points left."
I wondered what she had bought that left her with 689 points, even though the point system had only been introduced for two weeks.
"It doesn't matter does it? I still have a lot of points."
"But that's not the problem."
"Eh?! My cell phone!"
I grabbed her cell phone forcefully to her surprise.
I didn't care about that, the most important thing was that I could find out the contents of the point history section on Fisa's phone.
Ah, so that's it.
When I pressed the point history section, I could see some of the point deductions that had occurred.
Apparently Fisa had been penalized so much that she had 689 points left.
Playing with her phone while the teacher was explaining: -30 points.
Coming to school late: -30 points.
Littering: -5 points.
Entering the boys' dormitory without permission: -20 points.
Actually, there are many other things, but I can't read them one by one.
"Satomi, give me back my cell phone!"
When Fisa tried to grab her cell phone that I was holding, I immediately raised my hand higher so that she couldn't reach it.
"Wait a minute, I still have business with this phone."
"That's an invasion of privacy, give it back quickly!"
I ignored him who looked annoyed.
Then I opened the contacts section.
5 Contacts Available.
Oh, there were fewer contacts than I thought.
I thought she had more than 20 contacts, but it was only 5.
"Let me see."
"What are you looking at?!"
Cika, Danna, Lina, myself, and the last one was Wijaya.
I didn't recognize the last one, but I knew that he was in my class.
"I think that's enough, thank you."
When I was satisfied with the cell phone, I gave it back.
"You'll see, I'll definitely reply!"
"I'm looking forward to it. But for now, aren't we here?"
We stopped right at a cafe called H's Cafeteria.
"Let's go in, Satomi! The others must be waiting!"
"Yes."
Then we went inside and looked for them.
I didn't know who the people were, but it was better to keep quiet and follow Fisa.
"Lina! Sorry for the long wait!"
It turned out that Lina was also in the study group.
That made me a little relieved.
From what I've observed, Lina is the type of person who takes learning seriously.
Moreover, she was very active in learning, such as asking questions when she didn't understand, answering questions from Mr. Smith and her answers were almost always correct.
I don't even understand why someone like her could be in Class E.
Here I also saw Cika, Danna, and then a guy I didn't recognize.
I was sure that he was in my class, but I didn't know him very well.
I was even more relieved that he didn't join the study group.
That means Fisa won't be threatened by being here.
"Oh, Fisa! No problem, we just arrived too."
"Can we join?"
"You can, Fisa... but why did you bring him along?"
"You mean Satomi?"
Well, it looks like I wasn't expected by Lina.
She did save me while being punished by Mr. Smith a few days ago, but I guess she just wanted to answer him and had no intention of saving me.
"Yes, he did. I'd have a hard time teaching an idiot like him."
"You're not-..."
"Sorry if I interrupted you guys! My job was just to bring Fisa here, so I'll be leaving now that my job is done."
I could see the annoyed look on Fisa's face, so I interrupted her before she spoke further.
"No... don't go, Satomi!
"Lina's words are true. I'll only annoy you guys if I stay here."
Just as I was about to leave them, I was suddenly hugged from behind.
Of course I knew that it was Fisa.
"Please, don't go!"
I could hear her voice that was almost drowned out.
Again, I could feel the same feeling as before.
As expected, I did like this girl.
Without thinking, I turned around and stroked her beautiful silver hair.
"Alright, I'll come with you."
"Thank you, Satomi!"
"You don't need to thank me."
Finished playing with her silver hair, I approached Lina.
"Lina, I'm such a fool. No matter how you look at it, I look stupid. But..."
I didn't want what I said to be heard by them, so I leaned closer to her ear and started whispering softly.
"You're dead wrong. Just ask Danna!"
Finished with that, I returned to my original position.
Of course, what I had done drew some reactions from them, including Fisa.
"Hoi, Satomi! Why would a fool like you get close enough to Lina?!"
Danna looked annoyed and started to get angry at me.
"Calm down, Danna! We've been seen by many people."
Lina started to calm him down and thankfully he shut up right away.
"Satomi, why, what are you whispering about?"
On the other hand, Fisa also looked upset.
Uh, why?
Is she upset that I'm too close to Lina?
Is she jealous of me?
I still don't know for now.
"I whispered something so that we could be together here."
"Oh, is that so?"
"Yes, trust me. Lina will let me join after this."
As my irritation slowly dissipated, I faced them again.
"Danna, is Satomi that stupid?"
"Eh? Why are you asking me?"
"Just answer!"
Lina asked Danna.
"I don't know, but she's kind of weird."
"A bit strange?"
So I was the one who was a bit strange in Danna's eyes.
That wasn't a problem, because I didn't care either.
"When Mr. Smith told her to do a problem on the board about chance, he got it wrong, even though he said the right answer when I asked him."
"Uh, Satomi. Why did you do that?"
Fisa, who heard Danna's story, started asking me questions.
"I just randomly answered, and by chance the answer I gave Danna was right."
I could only answer like that.
"It can't be a coincidence, after all 1/26 is very far from 100. So why did you answer it wrong, Satomi?"
Lina started talking again after hearing my answer.
"I'm not sure about that answer."
"Fine, whatever you say. You can join as long as you don't bother us."
"Really?! Thank you, Lina!"
When Lina allowed me to join, it was Fisa who felt very happy about it, while I just kept quiet.
"Please cooperate, you two!"
"Yes, please cooperate too!"
"Yes."
Then we started our group learning.
I had joined this study group that contained a total of 6 people.
The man I didn't recognize earlier was named Wijaya, and he was the type of person who was hardworking and never gave up.
He was also the person in the person who was in Fisa's contacts earlier.
Now I knew everyone in the study group.
Lina, Danna, Cika, Wijaya, Fisa, and finally myself.
For a few days, we continued to study a lot to prepare for the academic exams that would be taken next Sunday.
The place where we gathered to study remained the same, at H's Cafeteria.
Even on holidays, we still study for a few hours so that we don't fail the exam.
