Draven glanced at her and arched his brow.
"I couldn't smell your scent anymore," he replied.
Avelina was thoroughly bewildered.
"Huh? What do you mean by "scent?"
Draven briefly explained, "Everyone has a distinct scent, and I already retained yours. This means that I can smell you from a bit of a distance away."
Avelina looked stunned. She was dazed for a few moments before asking, "So you are able to smell my scent while asleep?"
"Yes." Draven nodded. "We have a high sense of smell. If an intruder was to come in, I would be able to tell immediately."
"When you left earlier, your scent was getting fainter with each step you took."
"I see…" Avelina stroked her jaw. "What kind of scent do I have? I'm curious."
