"Sorry…" Avelina's glaring look went soft, and she glanced at the part of his shoulder where she'd bit him. She spread gentle kisses on it and pulled back to look at him with a wide, apologetic smile.
"Much better?" Her large eyes batted rapidly in a flirty manner.
Draven's expression darkened at the sight of this, and he abruptly lifted her from the table. He walked toward the bed and laid her down, his body hovering above hers.
"Take as much blood as you need. I will do my own thing in the meantime." He smirked at her, his palms cupping her cheek.
Avelina kissed his lips and pulled him closer to hug him. "I love you, Draven. I really do."
Draven pulled back to gaze at her, his eyes gentle. "I know you do. I love you more, sunshine."
