A gradual smile formed on Avelina's face and she bit her lower lip, clearly having enjoyed what unfolded to the fullest.
Was dying really the price she had to pay to get what she'd always wanted? A soft breath fled her nose and she shook her head, not wanting to think of such things.
Avelina attempted to sit up from the bed, but Draven's arm that was wrapped around her belly didn't exactly give her the chance to. She laid back on the bed and looked at his sleeping face which was half covered by his messy hair scattered all over the pillow.
She smiled lightly, reaching out her hand to remove the few strands of his hair away from his face.
