Avelina blinked her eyes, slowly nodding her head. "Mhm. I feel happy." Her tone was quite cynical.
Draven quietly watched her for a few short seconds before abruptly flicking her forehead.
"Ouch!" Avelina rubbed her forehead and glared at him with her lips puckered. "What was that for?"
"Why are you sad?" Draven raised his brow at her.
Avelina immediately frowned at him. "I'm not…sad." She looked away from him.
"Liar." Draven scoffed, glaring away from her. "I may not understand emotions as much as you do, but that does not mean I cannot tell yours apart. I don't pay attention to others, but I do to you, Avelina."
"So…I can tell if you are not happy." His tone dropped.
Avelina sat gazing at him, as though she were suddenly stuck in a daze.
