Old Master Lenort shook his head. "That does not matter, son."
"Letting go is not the main plan, but having his heart broken is. If he truly is in love with her, then this will heavily shatter him. I mean, it is his first time falling in love after all, is it not?"
"Yes, it appears so. I have never seen him that way with his late wife nor look at any other woman with those eyes as he does that human." Ryan agreed.
Old Master Lenort grinned.
"Then sit and watch your little brother break down. Love can be blissful, but it can also be a punishment—a curse! To kill, you must weaken your enemy, Ryan. Remember that! This will be a first step, hopefully."
Ryan looked at him and swallowed. "You are right! It will be a first step. Then, when we have him at his lowest, we will break him completely."
"Good! Good!" Old Master Lenort chuckled, patting him on the shoulder. "Sit and watch things flow naturally."
"You may leave now," he dismissed.
